Proudly occupying the space of the former Greyhound Depot, BRU Burger Bar Evansville is the fifth BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

The food was average, it seemed dark and crowded, and the drinks weren’t very good. Our server was nice, but we won’t be back.
sorry, first time here. There were 7 of us my daughter and I first timers. Tried the triple dip. onion straws were cold and took forever. rest 9f that was decent. got a triple cheeseburger had no taste at all. I don't think it even had salt or pepper on it, fries were way over cooked. waitress was so slow I ate my tasteless sandwich with nothing to drink.everyone else said it was the worst they had ever had there also. I will give it another try some time but probably not soon.
I use to LOVE coming here. My whole family did! Unfortunately we can in on Saturday and our service was so bad, it just ruined our night. Our server was really pushy and every question we had she had a attitude, she shoved my drink every refill and was so quick to go even though the restaurant wasn’t even full? This was at 4pm. Last night was the second time my fiancée and I had ever been there. The first time we went during her lunch break and they took so long she ended up having to leave and go back to work without her food ( Poor slow service). Last night we stopped in there only because we are looking for a room to have an event. I went to an event there a few months ago and remembered that room. Others in my party said that their food was great. Mine was mediocre and unsatisfying. So was our service.
The burgers were great, as were the onion rings and salad. The Mac and cheese was ok, but my dinner came out much later than the rest of my group’s food, and they forgot my cocktail order. Service needs work.
