Proudly occupying the space of the former Greyhound Depot, BRU Burger Bar Evansville is the fifth BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

Jan. 6, 2018 Arrived around 5:30. Was seated at an elevated table by hostess desk after about an hour wait. They text you when table is ready we never got a text and they don't page. Terrible place to be seated! Cold and shivered through dinner because it was freezing outside and people kept coming in and holding door open bc of the crowd inside. overpriced and overly talked about. not that impressive. young staff that does not seem to care about the public. I will not be back.
Bru burger good, not great. Fries were cold over cooked and uneatable. Onion rings good. Service poor. Thursday night around 8:30 pm, waiter more concerned with closing procedures. Walked by the table twice, we both had empty glasses (Pepsi and tea). Had to ask another waiter to get our bill.
Food was great, wait staff was super, and it was a concert night so we expected a wait...but they were very busy and we ordered right as we were seated...the food took a long time, good thing it was good, because we had people from out of town who had never tried it
Went to Bru Burger this weekend and the experience was very disappointing. When we arrived we were greeted and seated immediately. After that, we never saw a waiter/waitress, and there were not many people there. Sat for about 20 minutes and we decided to leave and go to Old Chicago. I had high hopes that this would be a place close to home comparable to Burger Up or Pharmacy Burger in Nashville. I would rather take the drive to Nashville.
