Fiorello serves locals and tourists but it is the mainstay for Lincoln Center patrons who mob it everyday and night there is any performance happening. Because we live only a few blocks away and we are Philharmonic regulars, we find it a much more enjoyable experience by avoiding their most busy times. We recently went midday for a late lunch - their pre fixe is a good deal. We added drinks, their famous fried artichokes and two generous slices of delicious tiramisu cake. The chicken Payard is tasty, moist and full of interesting accompaniments.
Lunch was delicious. Food and service were exemplary. I was treated like a VIP.
While many menu items are wonderful, the thin crust pizza remains the centerpiece. Roasted Roman artichokes also fabulous. Always crowded.
I've eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. My only complaint is that it gets very, very noisy at dinner time - too many people crammed into very tight spaces! But the food and convenience to Lincoln Center keeps me coming back!
I love coming here for lunch. I almost always make my choices from the anti-pasta bar. The choices are wonderful and are fairly priced (I believe you can get 3 for $19). The food was delicious--as usual. The service was even better than usual. The red balloons and hearts made it extra festive. Thank you for a special Valentine lunch treasure

The maitre'd was calm and competent in a madhouse environment. The complimentary prosecco was a nice touch to help pass the time. Our waiter made great recommendations to help us enjoy our meal with the limits of our time. At that point given the madhouse and rush we didn't expect much but the food was surprisingly good. Excellent and authentic eggplant parm... read more
Never a disappointment, Cafe Fiorello is my family's favorite pre-Lincoln Center dining spot (though I've enjoyed lunches, cocktails and antipasti, and more leisurely dinners there as well). The food is delicious and the service professional and efficient--they'll always get you out in time for your curtain. I especially love the shrimp and beans, various antipasti, pizza, unusually thin and refined chicken parmigiana, and, of course the chocolate mousse. Prices are reasonable. Yes, it's pretty hectic pre-concert time, but t... read more
