A little on the pricy side but good reliable food & service that will get you out on time before a show. Entrees are generous and worth sharing when having an assortment of appetizers or small plates
Used to love going to Cafe Fiorelli for pizza or antipasti before Lincoln Center events. The thin crust pizza is still the very best in town. The antipasti choices amazingly delicious. But-- they have dropped pizza from their evening menu and upped the per person charge to $30. And, the waiter staff attitude is too pompous for the overcrowded bistro setting. There goes our opportunity for a glass of wine and a nosh before Lincoln Center. I guess we'll have to get our pizza fix at lunch time.
Always an enjoyable night at Fiorellos. Great atmosphere, wonderful wait staff, and the food is divine. I highly recommend their specialty, open faced lasagna, or their pizza but the antipasto bar is also amazing. You must save room for dessert though. The chocolate mousse is DIVINE! I dream about it. The best I have ever had. The server comes out with two bucks -one filled with the most fluffy and rich dark chocolate mousse you will ever have and the other filled with freshly whipped cream. He piles a mound of each on your ... read more
First time having liver and onions here; I'm always tempted but rarely eat it. A little disappointing, it was cut into a mountain of slices which were inconsistently cooked, some very rare, others overdone and grisly. Lots of onions which is always good but not the Venetian specialty I had hoped for. My dinner companions were more satisfied with the shrimp scampi and the lobster carbonara. The antipasto is always my first choice; especially the caponata, cippolini onions and carmelized fennel. We all split the fennel this ti... read more
Cafe Fiorello was an excellent restaurant to eat at before going across the street for an opera at Lincoln Center. Food was excellent and server was very attentive!
We love to sit in the front section. One looks at Lincoln center and the other looks at the vibrant bar scene. Antipasti dishes are displayed at the bar GREAT SELECTION! Service is spectacular. The open face Lasagna is a treat. Share it!
We had a very nice brunch. It was pre-concert at Lincoln Center so it was convenient for us. We had not been there in a long time so we wanted to go back. It did not disappoint.
Cafe Fiorello is perfect for a pre Lincoln Center dinner. The service is prompt without seeming rushed. The staff is always polite and responsive. My most recent dining experience was enhanced by a singing waiter who performed for the table next to us. Now if only the food was a little better.......
My young niece got there before me so guess what, she got seated right at the bus station. Not a pleasant place to sit but the waiter and the food made up for the terrible seat. Very crowded but they got us out to our curtain on time. Of course, we never got our coffee but no matter. We were happy to leave--it was nuts in there.
