We ate here before the opera on Tuesday, January 13. Our experience was excellent. We both had the veal marsala which we loved, and split a yummy salad of roasted pears and arugula. We were greeted enthusiastically at the door, seated promptly, and enjoyed fine service.
The carbonara was perfect. The best ever! My kids loved the place as well.
We love Fiorello,-- after The Met, after LCT theatre, after Juilliard...it is the ONLY answer - and delicious, and welcoming ...who could ask for more? Many thanks .
With many fabulous restaraunts in the neighborhood, I was uncertain of what we may encounter for dinner. My fears melted away as we were greeted with quite possibly the warmest and most enthusiastic welcome I have ever encountered for dinner! Having provided the name on the reservation, no one had to check a list, the name was immediately recognized by the host as though we were old friends being welcomed home! This most pleasant encounter was followed by an equally earnest reception by the manager, who quickly assisted with... read more
Cafe Fiorello has excellent service and friendly waiters, who are not over-bearing. We were a group of five, with varying tastes, and the menu satisfied everyone. The restaurant is busy but not too loud to Interfere with table conversation. We have been there before and we will return.....probably many times.
Food is very filling and delicious as always. We came at 4pm, the perfect time where it wasn't loud and service was very attentive. I know that's not an ideal time for most diners, but by a little after 5pm, the pre-theater dinner rush came in at once. The door was so congested and the place filled up fast. We barely got to squeeze through the door. We felt so fortunate to have beaten the craziness.
Fiorello was recommended by a friend who frequents the Met. We were just in NYC for the night to see The Merry Widow so Fiorello turned out to be ideal. An easy walk from our hotel and WoW...just across the street with a beautiful view of Lincoln Center. A good "wine by the glass" selection, a delicious uniquely Italian spin on liver and onions, generous portions and a well paced meal with lovely service was the perfect preamble to our night at the opera. Noise level made conversing easy and we didn't have to rush to make cu... read more
The antipasto bar is second to none. The staff is so friendly and accommodating that you feel like you're part of the family. One of the best sausage and peppers appetizer I've ever had. I can't wait to go back again!
I love going to Fiorello's. It has the best location in the Lincoln center area and the food is better than ever thanks to their talented chef Pasquale. Sometimes I go just for the antipasto selections at the bar. Always full of fresh and interesting dishes. The staff is warm and friendly there and they even come around with freshly baked cookies and muffins to make you feel welcome. It has a really fun bar scene in the evening as well. I go to Fiorello's at least once a week and couldn't recommend it more highly.
