I was the second person to arrive in the waiting room. The first person was call right in, and other people started arriving and soon hard 5 or 6 people in the waiting room. Those 5 or 6 people were call ahead of me as well as a few other that continued to come in. After 45 min. I was the only person in the waiting room and was about to leave when my name was called. Very, Very unprofessional!
Took to long. Appt was at 3:20 finally saw the doctor after 4:20.
came in for a full cancer scan. After 50 minutes, she looked at the one spot and told me what it was. I did not bring up the whole reason why I was there because my time is valuable too. Won't be back.
I have visited and used other dermatologists in various parts of the country before using this office and the amount of time, familiarity with my charts and past conditions, and thoroughness of the exam I received during my two visits to this office was far below what I received elsewhere. For example, the doctor was not familiar with the fact that I had skin cancer preciously or that I have had Angiolymphoid hyperplasia for may years.
Appointment was for 8:50 in the morning. Didn't get called back until 9:05. Then, come to find out, the appointment was "an old one", and not needed. Wasted an hour of my time. Last visit waited about 40 minutes past the appointment time. Apparently the office does a lot of double booking of patients.
I was surprised that no written instructions were given to me in regards to caring for the site of my biopsy. The doctor kept trying to leave the room each time I asked a question. I had to research online what to do to care for the site. The only friendly person was the girl that held my hand.
What good is sending me 2 reminders for an appointment that is 10 1/2 months away? I unsubscribed from your emails, I am now unsubscribing from your notices as well.
