I brought my puppy for a check up and a couple of shots and they presented me with an invoice for $425 for additional services they recommended. All unnecessary. The floors are very dirty and there are ants crawling in every room. They also schedule multiple bookings with the same doctor at the same time so expect to wait very long hours. I will not be back!

I tried to be fair and not yelp, but after the Dr. not really giving me much other than a small indigestion, try tried to rack up over 900.00 on charges for the suggested treatment needed. I had the gut feeling that the doctor didn't fully know what she was doing...considering I had to point out other items that were concerning to me. She was a bit spacey. Not to mention an ear cleaning was 45 dollars...really? I was willing to let it be, but this was what made it yelp worthy: I discovered my dog may have eaten one of my 9 ... read more

As of 6/1/17, the Calabasas Animal Clinic is under new ownership and they did not retain ANY of the front desk staff, technicians, or Dr. Ravenscroft. For the last 2 years, I've been bringing my dog Smudge here for daycare and medical treatment, and I could not have been happier with the care he received under the old management. I took my almost 17 year old cat to the Calabasas Animal Clinic last September. Following lab work my kitty was diagnosed with renal disease. Dr. Ravenscroft, although a very nice doctor, treated my cat for two consecutive days with IV fluids and medication for the low potassium readings. When I picked up my kitty on the second day of treatment I think the vet ran out of a treatment plan other than suggesting to force feed my cat which I would have never agreed upon. Too comfortable BULLIES. Could not get doctor ever on phone. Not even with email. In my opinion, dangerously ABUSIVE STAFF. Perhaps nurse is delusional. She also kept calling leaving nasty messages. Sick place.
If I could give negative stars, I would. They almost killed my cat. If I had not taken my cat to another vet afterwards, he would be dead. My very old cat woke up on a Saturday unable to walk. He was still alert and had his usual voracious appetite. Just couldn't stand or walk. Calabasas Animal Clinic indicated that his heart and lungs were good, he had mild kidney disease and that the only real problem was a pinched nerve.They prescribed Gabapentin. I took my dog to get bath today for the first time, left the dog around 10:am. I got a call around 10:30 the receptionist telling me that the Dr. check the dog and believed the dog needs medication.
