I have now dealt with this dealership twice. Both times I have been looking at vehicles under 10k. This place comes off as the stereotypical sleazy used car dealership. They are VERY high pressure. By far the worst experience I have ever had with buying anything. The used salesmen acted like they had no idea what they were doing. They sold me a car with an aftermarket alarm system and did not have the keypad to operate it. Then when I tried to have them get me one, they made it seem like it was this huge deal for them to do it for me, and then they never did. On June of 2010 I purchased a 2010 Expedition Ford at Camelback Ford. I traded in a Chevrolet Silverado with the purchase and was told that if I filled out the customer survey that Scott Cocuzza, Manager would fill up my tank and give me free oil changes with a perfect score. Come to find out it took them more than 60 days to pay off my Silverado (trade in) and it hit and affected my credit score. Watch out for this dealership! They will make a deal and then move on to the next victim, I mean customer. They finally delivered, but I had to call more then 30 times to he dealership to make it happen. They didn't have my truck when promised, and didn't return calls when I called them to find out where my truck was. TOOK THEM 3 WEEKS TO PAY OFF MY TRADE! They didn't deliver on a truck bed as promised. If you get caught in the same problem, go direct to the GM, Brent. While he wasn't overly responsive, he made it happen.
I was lured in by an ad in Sunday paper. It said looking to get rid of 2010 F-150 to make room for 2011. It was priced at $23,000. Was told only for a few that were in stock, no problem wanting a new truck anyways so, The salesman took me around and he was fantastic and friendly and honest sense I got from him. I am quite displeased with my Financing experience at Camelback. I was pre-approved thru my credit union and allowed the dealership to buy down the rate. 3 days before my payment was due I called the dealer and advised them that I have not received a statement, I was told they would look into in and call me back..."crickets" - never received the phone call. I specified a particular car I wanted and e-mailed it to three Ford Dealers. The best price quote came back from Camelback Ford so I made an appointment, When i got to the dealership I was told that they didn't have the car I wanted in stock but they had found one in Sacramento and I could sign a contract for that one.
