I just purchased my first new truck from Capital and couldn't have been happier. Dennis and Will were very patient with me. I was very picky with what I wanted and it took a few weeks to find exactly what I was looking for. They definitely gave me the best price and were very easy to work with. I would recomend these guys to anybody. I will definitely be purchasing my wifes next suburban from Capital when the time comes.
Buying my car with this dealership was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had.
Dealer refused to honor cars. com price. I emailed the dealer before making the 45 minute drive and was told that they would honor the cars.com price. We spent over 2 hours at the dealership only to be told they would not honor the price. They claimed that there were upgrades on all 5 vehicles in the add and that the add contained that information. I have read the add several times and there is no mention of upgrades. Also, they should have informed me when I confirmed the price by email which they did not.

Worst Experience Encounter with CAPITOL CHEVROLET ON MY NEW COLORADO THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED TO PERFORM!!!
Deceptive practices with Finance manager. I did not receive full itemized charges when purchased (missing page 2) and was stapled together on original paperwork. Only received full itemization after going by there to ask for it. Then found out was charged almost $6K for extended warranties (which I explicitly stated to finance manager I did not want any additional warranties at time of finance). Don’t expect to be given anything close to the real value of your trade-in. They’ll tell you to your face that they can’t resell your vehicle and that it’s going to auction, but it’ll be listed for sale on their website before the ink has dried on your contract.
stay away from Capitol Chevrolet. They are thieves and liars. After telling me, they had an approval to move a loan over from santandar I find out that santandar was not financing the new vehicle. Yes, they would move the old loan but only for the same amount. Mike and Marty at capital Chevrolet were flat out lying to me. Slimy experience don’t go there
I am extremely disappointed in both Capitol Chevrolet Austin TX and General Motors regarding how a catastrophic issue with a brand-new vehicle has been handled. My 2025 Silverado experienced a catastrophic engine failure with under 6,000 miles and required a full engine replacement.
