We’ve now had two bad experiences at Capitol Chevrolet. During our first visit, the salesperson insisted we fill out lots of paperwork before we even discussed purchasing a car. We decided to give the dealership another chance about a year later, but things were even worse. As soon as we pulled into the lot, multiple salespeople surrounded us before we could even get out of our car. Inside, the dealership had an unpleasant smell and loud music playing, which made it uncomfortable to stay. The sales staff were very pushy, rep... read more

The website specifically mentioned everything that was included in the price When I arrived they tried to add an additional $3500 to the price and mentioned it was a mistake on the website I paid $2000 over what the price on the car was. Do your homework and ask a lot of questions before going to this dealership I’m not returning
I bought a vehicle about three weeks ago. My sales guy David was awesome but the my management or dealership wasn’t worth it when we were buying it didn’t show on the Carfax. That it’s been I a wreck The grill flew off the front of the suburban. They did not pay for it or help us out from getting out of this vehicle to get a new vehicle very poor service. Now my wife is driving like 2023 xxxxed up suburban 3 different color side never going back
I had previously removed this review because a representative from Capitol Chevrolet reached out to me and said they wanted to make things right. Since then, we have had another terrible experience, resulting in us having to pay for a rental car for a week. The work was under warranty, and we were told that we would be reimbursed for part of the rental costs. It is several weeks later, and every time I call, I either get put on hold and then hung up on, or sent to the voicemail of someone who never returns my call. Earlier t... read more

This dealership is not responsive at all. I have bought two cars here recently and brought them in for service. We were not contacted to be told what was wrong with the car for days. We would call and call with no answer to the phone calls. And then once we did get through would get no return phone calls back. So we got no estimate of the amount of time no estimate of cost until the car. Both cars had been there for over five days. My car is a 2022 Corvette C8 and they’re not even sure if they fix the problem after keeping i... read more

Our brand new $70k+ Chevy Silverado has been at Capitol Chevrolet for 42 days as of today. The vehicle has a transmission problem. We were told that the necessary part would arrive on May 13, 2025. The dealership has stopped communicating with us. We have tried: Chevy Customer Assistance, Chevy local Zone Manager, General Motors CEO. It looks like TX DMV is next.

Dealership inflates the price of the vehicles with added unwanted options. Salesmen Jacob Nolan did not disclose this when we called dealership. We drove many miles for this car only to find this out. They said they would not charge for options but they tried to work the numbers in once we tried to finance. Recommend you going person so you won’t be surprised. Deceptive dealership…BUYER BEWARE!!
