I leased my Tahoe through Capitol Chevrolet and decided to purchase it once the lease expired. What should have been a pretty straightforward transaction given I’d already been driving this car ended up being a 4+ hour wait due to a very long inspection/service delay. I almost used a third party to do the lease buy out and really should have to avoid the hassle that comes with the in person dealership buying experience. Worst customer service and terrible communication. Talked with Juany to buy 2 cars and worked on this deal all day giving them everything they requested while I was at work to purchase 2 cars just for them to sell it because I wasn’t there in person even though I worked on this deal all day. Was told just because I want there in person and someone else does, doesn’t matter what I was working on they’d rather give it to them. I’ll be making our vehicle purchases elsewhere with respect.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Capital Chevrolet in Austin needs to be shared, especially for women and members of marginalized communities considering this dealership. In 2023, I purchased a new Chevy Trailblazer from this location and within months experienced electrical issues. The service department offered minimal support, and I struggled to even get a loaner vehicle. I don't understand why I have to make an appointment if it's still going to take a week to even look at my car. Then I was told it took a week to fully diagnose the issues. My check engine light came on right after I got it back.

Son lo peor el antetior servicio me perdieron las tapas de anticogelante y el de agua de las parabrisas Este ultimo a ninguno de estos 2 me los llenaron Mi esposo lo reviso y estaban a uncuarto de llenos casi vacios Estas dos veces eh llamado y dejado ña queja y haste hoy no tengo ni siquiera una respuesta o disculpa Lo siento pero es la verdad Marielena Rosales

I rate desk contacts as good but service as unsatisfactory i have a broken it is a problem.

Absolutely terrible experience at Capitol Chevrolet’s service department. I came in for a simple oil change and ended up wasting almost FOUR hours of my day — 3 hours and 45 minutes, to be exact. My service advisor completely vanished. No updates, no responses to texts, no returned calls — nothing. After two hours in the lobby, I texted for an update and got ignored. Regarding the recent service visit for an anti-braking system update and battery replacement, I observed a lack of proactive communication regarding the vehicle's status, necessitating follow-up via phone or email to obtain updates. Upon vehicle retrieval, a flat tire was discovered, and the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) readings did not align with the actual tire conditions. After taking 3 weeks just to do the work.
