Bought $50,000 truck from Capitol. Buying experience was not good. Salesman would not call me back. Salesman lost my second key, and I had to go to the dealership 2 different times to get it from them, and only got it then after escalating to a manager. Salesman claims he was calling me at a phone number that I don’t recognize and did not give to him. 2,000 miles on truck, radio won’t turn off, battery draining due to faulty over the air update module. Beware stay away from this business. A cautionary note is advised when dealing with this dealership. Initially, I was eager to acquire a 2024 C8 Corvette at a discounted price of $7,700 below MSRP. Salesperson Alexis facilitated a remote vehicle evaluation via video. Upon revealing my plan to pay half upfront and finance the balance through my bank, the dealership incorporated hidden fees and unwanted protection plans, adjusting the price. Good new truck prices - if you don’t mind buying a lemon. Brand new duramax. 20k miles. 1.5 years old. Leaking oil from the main seal. And all over my driveway. Off the road. No loaner. Leaking oil again. No one will get back to me. Had to go direct to GM. Service manager won’t return calls. Truck has to be off the road for another 10 days. Worst dealership who can’t fix or communicate to hold up a warranty. Nobody there knew if a specific vehicle was even available, was told it was, drove 2 hours only be told it was not available. Then told vehicle was there. Made appointment, had preapproval for the vehicle with finance company, however they checked my credit 3 times with hard inquiries with different companies which I did not authorize. Those will last 2 years on my credit report. In the process of dealing with the purchase, was then told the vehicle was already sold.

I always had good reviews but this time we took the truck for service Monday and I understand it takes 2-5 business days to get looked at but I haven’t received a call on how it’s going or what’s going to happen and I’ve called since Tuesday and my advisor Anthony hasn’t called and everyone tells me I will get a call back soon or before they close and nothing today 8/23/22 I called 3 times since 9am and I was supposed to get called back and it’s 5:16 and no call back from ANYONE this is so frustrating and upsetting as we hav... read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Capitol Chevrolet sold me a 2020 Colorado with rust issues (see pic) that they missed during their Certified Pre Owned(CPO) inspection. Even a mediocre mechanic would have seen the rusty parts. To make matters worse, they refused to make it right. In addition, when I went to get my free oil change at another GM dealer, they had no record of my Colorado being a CPO, so I had to pay for it. Don't make the same mistake I made. Wasn’t completely honest. Said it would take 3 hours. But it took 6. Said he filled up my gas tank, but did not.

I would like to give 5 stars. However, the service department cost the one star. My salesperson, frank, was great! I was able to get into a vehicle. While it is not the color I wanted the team needs to know that when there is a vehicle they need to make sure not to sale it from under another salesperson. The service team needs to make sure that the vehicle is registered rather than wasting someone’s time with a drive. The finance department could be more efficient and mindful of folks time as well.
