DO NOT USE CARCHEX. They will attempt to put used "refurbished" parts in your car. This isn't an actual warranty at all. They pretty much go dumpster diving for parts to put in your car. And god forbid if you try to cancel. They will take whatever "repairs" they did to your car and subtract that from your refund. Crooked from top to bottom. STAY WAY FROM THEM, In 2015 I bought insurance with (Nick C*****) for (Chevy Van 2005 express 2500) I believed and I trusted everything in what he said because it seemed to be all true. We purchased a Royal Protect Vehicle Protection Plan from Carchex. It is their 'top of the line' plan that includes what is called the 'Technology Group'. Recently we started having trouble with the back up camera and with the cruise control function. We took it to a local repair shop. The company has smooth talkers for sales man, don't buy into there sneakiness--I pay 170+ dollars a month and have had my truck in the shop twice since I've gotten the policy. They've denied the 1st claim that my mechanic put in and the 2nd claim my mechanic also put in they denied covering 95% of the things wrong on my truck because they aren't listed specificly in the policy--they fix everything around whats boke but not the actual broken part so im stuck with the bill anyways along with still paying them almost $200 a mon... read more

They took more than 50% of what I paid for the warranty without paying out anything! I purchased a Carchex warranty for my car as soon as I purchased it. Never had a claim and made all payments as scheduled for over a year. Warranty cost $5,502 and I paid in $2,873. I put 5,291 miles on my car since purchase. I never had a claim during ownership of this warranty and decided I would sell my car and get my money back. I understand companies need to make money too. This is the worse car warranty company, I have ever dealt with in my life. Got this plan thought being since I recently purchased a used vehicle it would be good to invest in. So I did end up having a small issue with the car handle after about 2 months. On 4/24/2017 brought my 2010 VW CC into ********** thinking that my struts gave out on me just to find out that it was my brake caliper's that were loose. Company denied my claim because they said it was wear and tear. I asked them if my calipers gave out on me today or in a year it gonna be still wear and tear and that a year from now they would have to cover it under the warranty.
