The absolute worse experience I've ever had. I just purchased a 2 year warranty about two months ago. AC and an issue with my left wheel felt like it was dragging. 4 day later at the dealership and an inspection carchex pays only 200 out of a total 1200 towards my ac to be repaired and that's it. Mind you my deductible is 100. Needless to say im getting rid of carchex. Never again

I am very displeased with Carchex. I became a member in April 2018, not knowing that June 2019 my Nissan Pathfinder year 2013 would be in need of a transmission. I had my car towed to the Nissan dealership in Tallahassee, Florida on Thursday, June 5,2019 The sales clerk was able to a claim number and said that it was covered and they would be contacting the dealership with next steps for approval. I paid for a three-year contract to cover my *******. My first repair went flawless, and Carchex covered it immediately. Today was my second claim, and it went poorly. I drove my car to my nearest **** dealership, a two-hour trip. After a diagnosis of my driveshaft assembly needing a repair, a claim was made. Three hours later, and two phone calls by the service representative, I was still waiting for my approval. I called and was told the same thing. This is the worst company ever. Extra long hold time, no one will answer your call when trying to make a claim. No one will call back, It is so hard to make an claim. Don't use this company.

I have been trying to get to Jason N who is Director of Customer Service, it has been humiliating and pathetic experience... it has been 6 days(he might argue about business days) but I have been calling and sending emails... No stars! This company is a racket. I purchased a warranty three months ago and my car is in the repair shop now going on the third day because they couldn't get in touch with them to get coverage. Once they got them the they were unclear of what was covered of the $700 claim. One part was covered (an engine coil) that the repair shop charges $50 for but Carchex wanted to mail them the part because they only pay $30.00 costing me more time. they take your money and don't hold up to there end of the deal.they falsely advertise

With the 30 Day & 1000 mile validation period, the coverage was active for (4) days and 250 miles driven. A 3rd party inspector was sent out to verify the failures to your AC Compressor and Expansion Valve. Based on the inspection, the inspector documented heavy coolant stains showing the failure was occurring prior to the policy being active. I recently purchased a vehicle that was covered under the Ultimate Warranty. Very disappointed, and discouraging. The starter no longer functions and the shop I took to get the repair has the cost for labor and parts at very competitive price of $576, CarChex will only cover $303 and $100 of the coverage is deductible. So they are really only covering $203. Very disappointed. As a customer I would be satisfied an consider this matter settled if CarChex covered $476 of the repair. I purchased this warranty for my 2011 ctvs Cadillac,The salesman told me to upgrade to the deluxe warranty and it would cover everything,Wrong smell gas inside car and took it the shop and the warranty clam was denied,I paid 5,500.00 for the warranty and it want cover the problem,Talk with Jason over the warranty department and he said they were going to help me out with the repairs,Now he want answer my emails or phone calls, Please research before you purchase extended warranty especially from carchex, I wouldn't recommend... read more
