About the Role

As an HRBP, you'll be the strategic people advisor for our global Sales, Customer Success and Support organizations (customer facing roles), based in India but fully aligned with US time zones. You'll drive talent strategies, foster employee engagement, and ensure HR initiatives support business goals in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. This role requires flexibility for evening/night IST shifts to collaborate seamlessly with US-based leaders and teams. We need someone who has previously worked in a U.S. shift supporting global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main HR contact for India-based customer-facing teams (like Sales, Customer Success, Technical Support etc.), supporting their operational and people needs.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee engagement, in collaboration with India HR leadership and global department leaders.
  • Oversee payroll/benefits admin support, HR data management (in HR systems), documentation and process improvements.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as pulse surveys, recognition programs, and retention strategies.
  • Advise on compensation, incentives (e.g., commissions, SPIFs), and equity for global teams, ensuring compliance with India, US, and international labor laws.
  • Champion DEI efforts and cultural integration across time zones, addressing challenges like remote work for distributed Sales/Support teams.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching for managers on performance issues, PIPs, and terminations.
  • Analyze people data (e.g., attrition trends, hiring metrics) to provide insights and recommend actions using tools like Paylocity and ADP.
  • Collaborate with Leaders and HR Ops to roll out global programs customized for Sales/Support needs.
  • Support organizational change, such as team restructures or expansions during peak sales cycles.
  • Ensure strict compliance with India labor laws and company HR policies.

requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of HRBP experience or similar role, with 3+ years supporting Sales, Support, or customer-facing teams in a global/MNC environment. SaaS company experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's/Master's in HR, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc.) a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting customer-facing global teams with proven experience in employee lifecycle management, performance management, and employee relations in India/US contexts.
  • Strong knowledge of India labor laws (e.g., Shops & Establishments Act, POSH), US employment practices, and global compliance (e.g., GDPR for data).
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Paylocity, ADP, Workday, or similar), Google Workspace/MS Office, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to thrive in US time zone (e.g., 7:30 PM - 4:30 AM IST), with strong virtual collaboration skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities
