I am writing an amended review for Caring Hands because one of the managers contacted me after reading my review to see how she could make their practice better. As stated before I've always felt the staff was super friendly, the place was extremely clean and well maintained, however it was a little on the pricey side. After telling her my concerns to the manager, she took note and said they were trying very hard to be more competitively priced and she appreciated me talking with her so she could incorporate them into maki... read more

I went to Caring Hands because my 1 and a half year old cat had begun urinating blood. This is after 2+ months of urinary problems and my normal vets office doing nothing. He began urinating blood at night so the next morning we rushed him to our normal office when they opened at 7:30. They then informed us that the doctors don't get there until 9. At this point I was in tears and just trying to find anywhere that I could take my cat and I found Caring Hands online and called. The person who answered the phone was so sw... read more

Our pets have been patients of Caring Hands for the past 16 years, pretty much one of their first customers when they opened in Centreville. They have been with us through thick and thin, several dogs, and a few cats. We have always loved working with Dr. Vitulli, who opened the original practice back around 1996. In recent years, we have seen other vets at the practice, and have never had any problems with any of them. Dr. Vitulli will always be our favorite, though! The facility is clean, modern, large, and very attra... read more

When I was looking for a vet, my criteria were 1) knowledgeable doctors, 2) Staff that was friendly toward the animals, 3) Follow-up and Follow-through for my pet's needs 4)Facilities capable of providing a good quality of care for my dog, and 5) a friendly staff that makes my trip to the vet less tedious. This was the first vet I visited in Northern VA and after 2 years I see no reason to go anywhere else. I may be shouting their praises from the hilltops, but let me explain... 1) Dr. Streck and Dr. Clandenin have been e... read more

I have taken my pup here since I got him 2 years ago. They've always been easy to work with, will see him immediately if I have a problem and they all know my pup by name, too. (well, he IS super cute :) I am very happy with the practice. I would give them a 4.5 if I could. Probably not a 5 as one time they took blood and I was the one that noticed he had blood all over his leg and needed to be cleaned up, etc. (my dog's fault as he's a PAIN getting any shots and I'm sure he wriggled.) But I'm very happy with them and will... read more

I've being taking my pups to this Caring Hands location since 2002. They offer state of the art procedures and equipment for all your vet needs. I've also watched them grow and expand, unfortunately this meant my primary vet moved to another location but that didn't mean I was going to get a less than great replacement for her. Just meant that she wasn't familiar with my dogs, sometimes lengthy, health history. The entire staff treats your dog like family. I've even had techs come out from the back lab to greet one of my do... read more

We've been patients since 1999. We mostly go to Ashburn now, but one of our dogs recently had surgery in Centreville. Dr. Dillon performed the operation & all went well. Staff member Penny had many conversations with me as she worked to get the procedure scheduled, and she was always extremely pleasant. I've pretty much seen all the docs in both Centreville & Ashburn, and they're all great! Highly recommended!

Caring Hands is a great animal hospital. We have been bringing our dog here for over 5 years, even though we live in Reston and there are other places a lot closer for us. I chose Caring Hands because I wanted a place that has extended hours and even weekend hours. I have never had any problems. The staff is very friendly and love the animals. The vets are excellent, they take the time to make the dog feel at ease, and they get down on the floor to examine the dog. My dog actually loves going to the vet, clamoring to get in ... read more

As proud owners of 5 dogs and 3 cats, we couldn't be more pleased with the personal and professional service we consistently get from ALL of the staff at Caring Hands. With our zillions of visits there from routine vaccinations to emergency surgeries, they all have become like family to us. From the moment we enter the front doors we are greeted by the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk (Jillian, Tina, Nicole, Michelle, Jamela). Greeting the pets by name, we are then escorted to the bright, clean exam rooms by the ... read more
