I have never received such appalling treatment as I did this past week by caring hands. I have been a customer for 4+ years and spent thousands of dollars here and they would not give me a disposable mask as I forgot them even though when I called they told me they would give me a mask. It was 100+ degrees out and they laughed at me as they forced me to stand outside in the heat for 45 minutes. I don't know why caring hands thinks this is an acceptable way to treat a customer paying $200 plus for a vet visit but they clearl... read more

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our owner, Dr. Campfield, reached out to your phone number on file with us and left a message. We hope to speak to you soon to learn more about your experience. She can be reached at 571-777-0100.
Likely the worst receptionist I've ever talked to. Doesn't know anything, don't care if she doesn't know, and don't want my business. If they are this way with the receptionist, what makes you think the doctor is any good?
Business response:
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We would be happy to discuss this further with you. We are unable to find your information in our system -- please contact Teri, our practice manager so that we may better understand your concerns. We look forward to speaking with you.
I brought my dog to that place for second time and it was my huge mistake. This place is a totally trash. The doctors gave the wrong prescription recklessly which is very high for my small morkie and can harm my dog very badly. The staffs are not handling the problem professionally and not even apologize for what they did. They only care about money. They don't take responsibility for their action at all. Please don't take your beloved pets to that place. Also, check every medications they give you. Don't trust them. Don't ... read more
My cat suffered so much before she died because of this place at the hands of Dr. Munzig. My cat was having hay fever issues last fall which were followed by consistent drooling post hay fever season. Another vet at the facility misdiagnosed her with an upset tummy via tele-visits, but in fact my cat had a cancerous tumor growing under her tongue. Once the tumor was discovered, I scheduled her for a biopsy with Dr. Munzig because there was a chance it may not have been cancer (and the oncologist wouldn't treat my cat unless ... read more

We understand how devastating this diagnosis is, and are so sorry for your loss.
UPDATE! They also gave me the wrong medicine for a yeast infection. We were FINALLY about to treat the infection with the correct medicine with my new vet. Literally, this place is the worst!
I STRONGLY URGE any patients or future patients to NOT see Dr. Jaclyn Warner. Before she worked at this animal hospital, she worked for an office in Nashville, Tennessee. I trusted her with my 3 pugs and for the most part she was good with them. In April I brought in one of them because he had a little lump over his eye that I wanted checked out. Instead of ACTUALLY figuring out WHAT the lump was to know how to treat it, she immediately assumed he just bumped his head and that some anti-inflammatory medication would make the... read more

We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet pug at a previous practice. Since Caring Hands was not managing your pup's case, we are unable to speak to the specifics of this situation.
Hot mess. I brought in my 12 week pup who I got from a rescue. He already had 3 distemper shots and had been fixed. Despite distemper being a 3 shot series the doctor tried to sell me on getting him a 4th shot. They then tried to sell me some puppy digestive food that was $5 a can, which I declined when I found out chicken and rice does he same thing. They gave me their choice of flea/tick/heart worm without giving any choices whatsoever and when I asked about an alternative the vet had no clue and had to go in the back... read more

We feel strongly that good communication is the key to providing excellent care and establishing lasting client relationships. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and speaking with us on the phone. We recognize that there was a communication disconnect, however, as discussed the Doctor's recommendations were in the best interest of your pet. Our veterinarian's first goal is to offer the best medicine, and that is reflected in our recommendations. For best protection, it is recommended that puppies receiv... read more
If you are looking for a vet that has a poorly managed front desk . Vets you can not get a hold of after they leave a message regarding your pets bad bloodwork. A manager that can't accommodate getting you one flee pill after selling you once before. Had to circumnavigate to another caring hands manager at the Merrifield location to help me(she was fantastic). You think the manager of this one could have made that call for me. A front desk that doesn't put in a prescription order to Costco until it's so late I can't get the... read more

Fred, thank you for sharing your feedback. We believe this review is meant for our South Glebe Arlington location. As mentioned in response to your reviews left elsewhere, we appreciate you speaking with our Merrifield location's manager and one of our owners, Dr. Newman, would be grateful for the opportunity to speak with you about your concerns about the South Glebe location. We look forward to hearing from you.
Decided to try this place as I go to Caring Hands in S. Arlington and the fact that it's a little closer to me. Unfortunately, I am not very impressed for several reasons. Two stars - clean, convenient location with plenty of parking, and overall nice building. First issue, I was not quoted any sort of cost prior to poking my cat's fat lump and examining the discharge (was used to the fact that S. Arlington CHAH always provides quotes prior to doing anything -- to make sure that I was comfortable with the cost and to exp... read more
