We had an emergency a few months ago with our dog unfortunately and had to take her here but she's fine ! Thank God but anyway , they were so caring no pun intended. We felt really comfortable there in such a difficult situation. Finding a new vet who you can trust is always such a difficult thing to do. After a lot of research we decided to try and establish care for our 2 cats at this location. I am so happy we found this place! Their customer service is excellent and everyone treated my terrified cats so well. So far we have gone there 3 times, twice for regular check ups and once for an actual issue and we have been beyond satisfied every time. As a new puppy parents, I was on a search for a great veterinarian that would provide not only great service, but customer service as well. You want to feel comfortable putting your puppy's health into someone else's hands, and this is exactly how I felt with Dr. Thornton. Oh my goodness! I'm so happy with this animal hospital! We are switching from a vet in D.C. because our former vet wasn't working for us. The front desk staff is very informative and patient. We initially made an appointment for an exam/blood work (on a Friday) and then my puppy's neuter a few weeks later. these guys really make you feel welcome! very freindly staff and vetrinarians! theyre understanding and pateint with animals. we have a small dog whos absolutly nervouse at the vet and they made sure to give her extra care in trying to calm her down and being patiemt when listening to her heart/lungs even though she was panting most of the time. they made me feel so happy when they told me that they abulutly adored my cat that i had to leave with them for the day. made me feel like a proud mom for raising him right! woul... read more

I've been to many vets in the area before discovering Caring Hands, and this is the only vet care I will use again and I cant say enough good things about them. CHAH consistently provides superb vet care from expert professionals for your animals at affordable prices. Perhaps most importantly, they are always honest about what your pet needs and does not need, all the whole providing friendly service. We rescued a black lab, Kona almost 2 years ago and she has had to go to the vet pretty frequently for a number of issues. Unfortunately she is also leash reactive, making vet visits an added challenge as its pretty difficult to not run into other dogs! I have two 17 year old kitties so I've been to a few vets in my time. I can honestly say that Caring Hands is the best one I've ever been too and am thrilled to have found them. The facility is modern and clean and they have thought of all the special touches to make the experience as pleasant as possible for pet and pet owner.
