I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. I liked the location and staff was very helpful and friendly. Beds were hard and incredibly uncomfortable. Had a window that within inches was a wall. The floors were filthy. The place felt unclean. Bedding was not great. Construction was going on and the workers were loud we had to leave for awhile. Not worth the money.

DONT STAY IN CARMEL, Monterey is only a 10 minute drive away and so much nicer and less expensive. I think this hotel is So dated, really grubby windows, extremely expensive for what they’re offering. Came with parking

This is a great location but not very memorable nor recommendable in many ways. The rooms are smaller than expected, and the facility is a bit dated and old, second floor stair access reveals tattered stained outdoor carpet, wishing there was additional space to gather like a balcony seat, or patio or reception lounge. space is limited in the parking lot with all spaces for compact vehicles only, and very tight clearances. Disappointing The room was dark and a bit dingy and there was a bath with no plug. We asked for a bath plug but were told that we could not have one. The fridge did not work. The cups were not clean. It was in a good location and we were able to park on site.

Fair Pillows had no substance (no support). Lumpy mattress. The room isn't dirty but blanket covers felt dusty. The room we got was very small but it's because it had two beds in there. Coffee for the very basic drip was very very bad and bland. Two queen beds and breakfast basket in the morning to get you started for the day.

I was super be disappointed in this property. I paid $170 for a very small room with dirty/ripped curtains. Ripped b Old, worn, ripped, dirty curtains, bedding and furniture. Holes left in the walls where things used to be. Remote didn’t work for the TV. At one point sound on tv went out and needed to be restarted. Uncomfortable bed. Location
