Took my 2 year old here for a nice relaxing dinner.... Or so i hoped. The wait staff was so offensive. They kept trying to pressure me to just order take out and bring it to my room where the is no high chair. I kept saying no but they were relentless and tried everything to get me and my child out of there fast. Im sorry if you cant handle a 2 year old but dont try to pressure me in to being the one to leave or make me feel bad about bringing my child for food because i wont. I will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN

Well average or below food and atrocious wait times. Came in for fish and chips and it took 40 minutes from ordering till served. When it is 4 in the afternoon and the place is almost empty. Hmm. Not good at all. Double this up because when we ordered it was 10 till 4. She wanted prime rib. Oh we can't order that till 4 she says and she says I am off then. Rubbish. She could have taken the order and delivered oh so easily. Instead .... oh well rant over. Choose another spot. Cause this ain't it.

Unbelievale no one even knows what gluten free is or cares. The manager didnt even have a clue. I guess when you are on vacation you are supposed to forget you are gluten free i even asked if theybwould toast my bread i brought and they refused. Back to the dark ages people.

We went here many times over the years even before Trop took over. Late at night the place always looked close and we passed a few times thinking it was. The food is ok nothing to write home about and service has never been great. To us it is more diner type food and great if your staying here. When the place has a few customers they act like they are swamped. If your in need of a place we would say eat here but there are many other places to go. If we are back in town and we stay at trop we may go for breakfast but there is... read more

If I could give this place a lower review I would. I have been coming here for years for the steak and eggs and when I traveled over 4 hours to visit Laughlin the waitress informed me they no longer have the special. So I decided why not try the new special which is now chicken fried steak and eggs. Let me just say it's absolutely disgusting I literally went and vomited after I ate it. This taste like a mixture of McDonald's chicken nuggets and beef filling. I will no longer be coming here and I will just start going to othe... read more

Open in name only. Says 24/7 but don't believe it. Showed up around 3am waited a few minutes to be seated for a party of 3. A few more minutes and water was brought out. It goes down hill from here so hold on tight: While we were waiting for our order to be taken the two waitresses were desperately trying to accommodate the 4 tables with patrons continued to pass us by. Minutes pass, and pass, and pass... I asked the lovely woman behind the counter who previously offered to give our order to a waitress, excessively condesc... read more

Ugh, I'm so torn because I used to love coming to Carnegie's late at night. Sure, the service was terribly slow and the $4 steak and eggs was the only sane choice, but that was part of the experience! Unfortunately, ever since they started making changes to the Trop, I haven't been so happy. The biggest change here at Carnegie's: they longer have steak and eggs for $4, only country steak and eggs (and they're not very good). Yes, that's a game changer. I no longer know what to do for late night meals.
