I love pork chops so since I'm staying at the Tropicana I thought I'd try their chops for dinner. BIG mistake. The waitress was horrible (glasses, blondish hair)i visited on a Monday around 4pm. She Visited my table after the food came, JUST ONCE. The chops were some kind of pork roll, and were terrible. Really chewy, and not in a good way. The mashed potatoes were cold. There was a time they had good food, but lately it is terrible. Eggs Benedict with hard cooked eggs, chicken strips with hardly any coating, French fries undercooked, and a Denver omelet without cheese. Never heard of such a thing. I cannot recommend this restaurant except for desserts.

We popped in kinda late last night and split a sandwich. Mediocre at best. Today, we wanted something from the Taco place next door to it. When we were standing near the door/gate/entry one of the employees saw us and SNAPPED..."THIS IS CARNEGIE'S, There's NO TACO PLACE ANYMORE! We just walked away. We will never go there again ...pissy staff!

Alas, after many years of solid food (in my opinion) Carnegie's has lost me as a customer. They changed their menu and got rid of a lot of their best options. The menu really sucks now, I'm so bummed. It almost feels to me they are slowly trying to phase this place out and have Brew Brothers as their main spot (BB is great by the way) Bring back the South Philly Cheesesteak!

Waiter lied and this place just doesn't have great food options at all. There shrimp cocktail is not good atll. Worst place to eat at

Waited 15 min to get our coffee. Waited another 35 min to get our meal. Our server Vickie was nice enough but something was dreadfully wrong with kitchen. TERRIBLE SERVICE. WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!! Asked to speak with Mgr but he was conveniently "unavailble." Our bill was $41.14 for a breakfast that took 50 minutes to deliver. Thats without tip. 14 minutes and still no one greeted us, had to ask manager and they she said we will get to you, then server became rude like it's our fault she can't greet in a normal time. Ask supervisor for a boss and she never sent anyone. 13 tables in restaurant and 4 servers and 1 supervisor and they can do there job. Horrible Horrible Horrible. There owners the Carano's would be embarrassed with their service

Once again I decided to give Carnegie's a second chance. Big mistake! I ordered two sandwiches to go 25 minutes ago and still no sign of them. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place to go! I need to not give them any more chances!

This place has horrible service! I had high expectations for this cafe but a total let down. The host sat us right away because there was no in waiting, there were a few people in the cafe nothing outrageous. We waited for our server we waited and waited as the host and to other waitresses we chatting it up. Finally I got up an d asked the host who is our waitress?
