I will never go here again. My cat was put down January 18. I called today to ask when I was able to go pick up his ashes and they told me that he was already cremated with other animals and everything!!!! Like wtf?! I signed papers to have a private cremation and to receive his ashes. Couldn't even call me either.
Never never never go here. We were told that there could be a wait to show up for their 'Urgent Care'. We arrived at about 1:15 and there were a lot of people already there. There was a steady stream of patients moving through, all presumably with appointments. A young lady we were chatting with told us she had showed up early for he 3pm appointment, at just before 2. When she went back at a little after 2pm we figured that it wouldn't be long, as clearly if they were taking 3pm appointments at 2 the wait should be almost ov... read more
Sunday, we had to bring our dying dog in to be euthanized. He was in terrible pain. After waiting over an hour a tech came out to look at him. Said she'd be back with the doctor as soon as she could. An hour and a half went by. Finally the doctor came out and gave him a sedative. Our dog's last two and half hours on earth was hell thanks to this "hospital". If it were not for Dr. Ross, who's the best vet I've ever used for my animals, I would go elsewhere.
Do NOT go here if you want your animals to live!!!
My very close friends went through a terrible ordeal with there dog at this veterinary office, One that ended his life. Skooby was loved by many here in Douglas county. I was the friend that made them get there 2nd opinion at the veterinary office on Centerville lane in Gardnerville. I'm very disappointed that carson valley vet charged them after they made the huge mistake with skooby. Veterinarians should be held more accountable. SHAME ON YOU CARSON VALLEY VET! !! After seeing what you did to there precious dog, I WILL NEV... read more
I took my dog there because he was not acting like himself. They took blood qnd x-rays. The dr. Told me it was because he had an infection in is prostate and needed to be neutered. So we scheduled the surgery. After the surgery he was a lot worse. He wouldn't stop bleeding so we took him back in and then they told us that he may have been poisoned. Then they charge us outrageously for plasma and blood transfusions x2. Tons of pills trying to get his blood to clot and nothing would work. I took him to the Vet on Centerville r... read more
