Called to get a quote for fence repair. Rotten post and rework entry way. The person who does the bids called me back and was unhelpful and condescending. Was only interested in doing complete fence job with steel posts. Basically told me they weren't interested in smaller jobs and to call someone else. Would suggest avoiding for anything other than complete fence install/replacement

I called to get an estimate on a home we are purchasing. Owner stated that their new policy is not to give quotes until after owners take possession of the home, but no explanation as to why. When I gave her dates and reason for wanting bid prior to possession date (we want work done prior to moving in because we have dogs) I stated it sounds like that would not work with their policy. We called Cascade Fence & Deck to come out and provide a bid to replace our fence. Kurt Johansson meet with us on July 1st and we informed him that we were in the process of acquiring bids, and that we were not going to make a decision until we had several bids. We informed him that our time frame was not until the end of the year, and he stated that would not be a problem since they were busy the month of July. When I did not hear anything back by Wednesday, 2/17, I called there office to see what was going on with my estimate. They said they would have estimator, Kurt Johansson, call me. No call back but on Thursday, 2/18, I received an email from him saying that they could not install the custom fence we had discussed. If I wanted to pick one of their standard fences, I should contact him. Bottom line, I don't get a fence I want but if I want to pay a couple of thousand for one of their fences, they would consider taking my money... read more
