Cant thank all the staff at castor lodge enough for looking after my dad . The minute we stepped into the home everyone was so welcoming to us all. If we wanted to know anything the staff was 100% efficient, and gave us the answers we needed virtually straight away. My dad's words were " he has made a lot of friends " with his short stay at castor. So once again thankyou so much for everything and I am sure dad will be back again .

I am beyond impressed with the exceptional care provided at Castor Lodge Care. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and genuine kindness. The staff are incredibly dedicated, and caring. The facilities are immaculate, comfortable and the food is of high quality. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and nurturing environment for my mum, I wholeheartedly recommend Castor Lodge Care Home to anyone seeking a loving and supportive place for their loved ones.

This home looks like a very upmarket home downstairs, where residents can enjoy the garden and a selection of soft drinks as and when. Upstairs where the more advanced residents live is totally different, they are left to sit in the lounge while staff watch tv. On any of the occasions I visited I saw no cognitive stimulation activities available. Tea round on a usual institutalised time. Residents left to manage as only two staff so tea would be cold for the majority of residents. Really disappointed.
