Very bad customer service. You pay for service ahead of time. You make appointments and they no show. Make people wait for 8 hours for them to show up. People who schedule cannot answer any questions. Refuse to give you a supervisor when asking for one. Terrible business. This is really a scam as you pay for service if you need it but they do not provide the service. Please do not use them.

Really dissatisfied with Centerpoint energy. If you are even a week late on a bill, they throw out a disconnect notice. I needed one more week and I could have paid it up completely, but tried to contact them and the automated system would not let me speak to anyone until I paid. When I did get to a representative, she sweetly said she would have been happy to work out a payment plan if I had talked to her. The CenterPoint Home Service Plus has not served me well during the five years I paid for it. Two bad experiences convinced me to discontinue their plan. The most recent in May 2019 was a furnace situation where their technician determined the control board needed to be replaced which he would order and install. A letter from CenterPoint Energy Home Service Plus soon followed to inform me that part is no longer manufactured and that they could not find it with any suppliers they contacted.
