Get directionsAmy replied to my post about not replacing secondary heat exchange....not under warranty ( and she said it takes 2 men, 7 hours to replace. Well, mine was under warranty (40 years) and it took Pronto Heating with 1 guy, 4 1/2 hours. So I don't know where you get your guys, but he was excellent. You need to do your research on Bryant warranties. It did not cost anywhere near what a new furnace would cost.
Business response:
Update: Glad to hear your furnace is working again! To clarify, I said heat exchangers are not covered by HSP Repair Plans, which is different than a warranty. Thankfully your furnace was still covered by the manufacturer warranty! Original: Sorry to hear that your furnace was not working! We do have a list of covered parts available on our website here https://www.centerpointenergy.com/en-us/HSP/Pages/parts-coverage.aspx. Heat exchangers are not covered under HSP Repair Plans because the cost to replace them is typically m... read more
Had an 8-12 appointment and no one showed up. When I called all I got was "you're scheduled but we can't tell you when" I understand emergencies and being late but no communication or notification is ridiculous this day in age. An email or a text can be automated. I've paid for this service for years and never used it. Horrible first impression and feels like I've wasted money. **update*** updated to 3 star. The guy made it around 4 and he knows how to fix this issue. He may or may not have the part. I really wish there was ... read more
This used to be a good investment...prompt and efficient service. That is NO MORE. Last two attempts have yielded wait times of two weeks to three months for service. Most of us need our appliances running and that is why we sign up for this service. At this point going to just cancel it as it is no longer cost effective.
Stayed home from work and had a 1 to 5 service window. No tech as of 630 and had to leave . Received text at 7 that tech could not access home and I would need to reschedule, waste of money. Will be cancelling and going with another company.
They used to have enough technicians to come out within two days, now you're lucky to get someone out in four days. Plus there's a four hour window. They just want your monthly fee and don't bother them.

Hi Steve, our customers are our number one priority. Our goal is to provide customers with service as quickly as possible, but in certain circumstances, such as a high volume of emergency calls, we are not able to meet this goal. I will be sending you a direct message to learn more about your experience.
They don't keep records, they don't call back, they do take your money and run. Happy to discuss with Larry Pitsch or whomever is in charge of HSP customer service.
Business response:
Hi Pat, we're sorry to hear that are not satisfied with the level of customer service you received from HSP. I sent you a DM on Yelp to learn more about your experience and help you find a resolution.
Furnace totally inoperable. Called for service. Told I would have to wait 12 days! Fine. Tech comes, says it's fixed, but it's not. Still completely inoperable. Call again. Ask for appointment today. Sure they say, some time between 10 AM and 6 PM. It's now 6:10 PM. No call, no show. Call the service line. Sorry, lots of furnace calls so don't know when they will be there. This type of delay and nonsense was not uncommon on prior service calls. DO NOT BUY INTO THIS SCAM!! I am cancelling the service plan as soon as someone f... read more

Hi Pete, we are sorry to hear that our technician was a no-show for your appointment. This is not the level of customer service we strive to provide to all of our customers. We will be looking into your experience to discover where things went wrong. I've sent you a DM on Yelp so that we can resolve this for you.
Absolute waste of money! At the beginning of last winter my furnace was running like a sewing machine. A couple months into the heating season we got a "furnace tune-up" and literally 5 minutes after the tech left the furnace would only light intermittantly. Had a total of 5 service calls and each time a 20 year old kid would come out and throw a new part at it, and each time it would have the same issue an hour later. Just tried firing up the furnace for the first time this season to burn the dust out, and now it won't fire... read more

Hi Derek, even though this is not the type of feedback we like to hear from customers, it's important for us to hear so that we can course correct. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I'll be sending you a DM on Yelp to learn more about your experience and hopefully make this situation right for you.
Set up appointment to fix my dryer and get a fireplace tune up on September 13. The first available appointment was September 18th between 1 and 5. Get off work early on the 18th, no one shows by 5pm so I call them. they tell me: "Our techs were too busy so we rescheduled you to Thursday the 20th of September between 1 and 5." Not happy about this, but it gets even better.... You would think that the previous days appointments would be taken care of first... They don't show up on the 20th. Now I'm more than irate.
