Absolute worst service EVER! Their "Service Plus" should be called "Service Minus". Constantly saying "your appointment you've been waiting for a week got bumped to tomorrow. And then tomorrow, it gets bumped again" Absolutely ridiculous. If you're understaffed, then hire more people! THE WORST. You call to complain and get put on hold and then magically disconnects you. Terrible service, I have service plus with them and they do nothing right. If I could change providers I would in a minute. There supervisors do not communicate with each other, you have to constantly call back. A very unorganized business. There service technicians could use more training along with there managers.

I've paid for Home Service Plus for 4 years and recently was refused service at my home. The plan I had paid for every month for 4 years was being applied to a location I never own and never had service at! After speaking to 4 different people for over an hour a HSP plan was applied to my home and service was scheduled. No technician every showed up so I scheduled another appointment. We've had CenterPoint HSP for many years and have used it infrequently. When we used it a few years ago for a fridge and range repair we were pleased with the promptness and professionalism of the service tech. Now our recent model Weber propane grill is on the fritz. It took a week to get a tech out. When he did come, the tech said he would order the needed parts and reschedule a time to install them. I have Home Service plus. After paying monthly for years, my AC stopped working last summer. They came out to fix it and it didn't work. They came back two weeks later and again they did not fix it. So at the beginning of summer this year I made an appointment. Again, they did not fix my AC. All of the payments I made could have went towards a reputable company coming out and fixing it. I am very upset.

Ridiculous wait times. Placed a call on Thursday 6/4/2020. Was told they’d be there Tuesday between 8-12. What they didn’t tell us until Tuesday 6/9/2020 that it would be Tuesday 6/16/2020. Nearly two weeks for AC service with temps near 100 degrees. Completely unacceptable. Supposedly 24 hour service. Obviously not enough technicians to support their clients.

CenterPoint came out to inspect our basement and ended up shutting down our main gas line due to some small gas pipe leaks. Silly me to assume they would also fix them. We called CenterPoint to schedule a service call. They weren’t able to give us a time but assured us they’d call back before the evening was over. Keep in mind it’s a pandemic and we had no hot water to was our hands. My journey started on middle of September of 2019. CenterPoint Energy sending mailing list of REI’s certified of 25 businesses w/ phone numbers to do insulation. I have contacted 14 out of 25 via phone to each twice left a messages of request of estimate or basic hire someone to do a job until to this day I am waiting for answers. Trying to get a repair has been a nightmare! Wrong part order twice and when tech arrived he bad mouthed tech before him. Same tech 3rd trip at 8:30PM and he came right thru the door, no shoe covers and I ask him about it and he said oh I'm good no dirty shoes. Went looked at part for fireplace and turned right around and left bad mouthing people again. Very unprofessional behavior.
