I had CPE came out to replaced a water heater and the Anoka city plumber that came out said he is too obese to do the job and I need to find a slimmer plumber. I called Brian in sales and he told me all their plumbers are heavy and I needed to find another plumbing company to do the job.I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and I find it to be the most ridiculous excuse not to perform a job. I would never hire CPE for anything again.

Our water heater failed on Friday March 8,2021. We have the appliance replacement plan through CPE which offered $450 off a new water heater. The following Monday two techs disconnected our old heater and installed a new one, but they had to return on Mar 18 due to lack of all the parts the first time. At the initial visit the contractor quoted us an additional $660 for the replacement. We were quoted about $1,150 total including the $450 discount, but we ended up paying $1,700. IF I COULD LEAVE A ZERO STAR I WOULD :( :( On July 27th I placed a call to the Centerpointe Service Plus regarding my washer leaking water on the side. They stated the next available appt is Weds 8.11.21, I'm okay but disappointed I have to wait almost 2 weeks. Weds came and at 3:50 I called Service Plus and they stated they left a voice mail message stating that that needed to re-schedule my appt for Friday 8.13, operator stated technical difficulties they have been having. I currently pay for the home service plus plan, made appointment Friday they came out said everything looked okay as he was leaving I told him that makes no sense the Temperature is going up in my house he replied with all that must be because we open the door I said I’ve done it several times and generally doesn’t make it where it does not cool down the House down, So the following morning I look and of course my air conditioner was not working it was getting hotter and hotter now I’m sitting at 81° in my house they resched... read more

Takes weeks to get an appointment in the Home Service Plus program. Then the best they can do is estimate from 8am to 8pm and then routinely reschedule after you have been waiting all day. The reschedule is usually for the next day from 8am to 8pm! Simply horrible service. I recommend you find another HVAC company and purchase their plan.

This is the third summer that I've had to call CenterPoint regarding my ac unit. Same issue each time which tells me that the tech didn't fix it properly. You shouldn't have to continue recharging the ac unit by adding freon.....there's a leak that need to fix and should have been fixed properly the first time. I pay over $100/month for Home Service Plus and I expect better service. On each previous visit I was given the first dose of freon for free then charged for an additional one. I pay a significant amount of money each month to Centerpoint for my Home Service Plus. I recently scheduled 2 service repairs for my dishwasher and my gas fireplace. The first appointment for my dishwasher was scheduled on April 19 between 4pm and 8pm. I received an email few days before my appointment to inform me that I had to reschedule, that it was a mistake from schedulers because no appointments for dishwashers are scheduled after 4pm. Stole $1200 from us. The service has been horrible for years, especially Home Service Plus. They randomly refunded a previous tenant at our property a year's worth of utilities and then charged us. This is a complete error that they keep apologizing for, but aren't fixing. We've been trying to get it resolved for 3 months and took our account off autopay. Do Not use this company for home service plus. The few times I’ve used them they are completely unreliable! My window was 8-12 and the supervisor Christine informed me in a cheery tone as tho I had won the lottery that my window got extended 3.5 hours. This is a joke to these people they don’t care about their customers, they should not be allowed to charge people for a service they can’t adequately provide. They gladly take your money but can’t deliver.
