I went to Central Ave Jeep in July to purchase a car, the overall experience was horrible the sales representative Bianca Alfalfa (Wouldn't recommend her to anyone) wasn't professional at all I was the one that had to call her multiple times to get information from her. I test drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee & was ready to lease it - but wanted to bring my husband back for a test drive. After the salesperson hadn't followed up with me after 3 emails/phone messages, I had a pre-arranged meeting with a manager for another test drive. When we arrived, the car that was given to us had the gas light on, it was empty! The 2nd car also had no gas! They put gas in the car, but the ride was gritty and not smooth. I am not impressed. I have a brand new 2015 Jeep cherokee that I had to tow with roadside assistance to central avenue on a saturday. They called me on Monday morning seeming to have no idea that it was even towed there and it took them all day to look at the car. They do not have a replacement vehicle program so I am stuck without a car and they are taking there sweet time taking a look at my vehicle to find out what the problem is. We bought a 2014 jeep on christmas eve 2014 Brand new I have never encountered so many problems not even with my used car and the dealer doesn't even fix them from rusted brake bar to foged head lights to scratches on the outside doors to a defective windshield unfortunately the day I picked it up was pouring rain two days later when I noticed I called the dealer well I'm still trying to get things fixed but no avail
We stopped by for a Grand Cherokee at this dealership. As we relocated to US from Hong Kong, we have been on hunt for a Grand Cherokee for the family. We have gone to the Jeep dealership at Proto Park and White Plains, but stopped by the Yonkers dealer at central avenue as I happened to completed my US driver license at Bronx DMV. Shady. Leased a 2011 Jeep Compass, upon end of Lease the price went from $13,000 to $15,000 + tax title and registration. Why would I pay $15,000 on top of a 3 year least at $297.00 totaling over $30,000 with no bells and whistles, oh a sunroof. The Jeep had 13,000 miles at the end of my lease. The names of the employee's are withheld at this time to which an investigation into this matter is concluded. My fiance went to get her vehicle serviced and showed up at 0715hrs. The service person stated she did not have a reciept for the service which she came for and he stated he would not even touch the vehicle until 0900hrs which is when the supposed sales dept employee's show up to substantiate the work she was do for. Dealer pulled a bait and switch... Quoted me one price verbally and then the paperwork had a higher price. When confronted the sales manager stated "I am sorry but we can not honor that original agreed upon price, either take it or leave it." The next day we reached out to the owner Mr. Grant, who stated "I am terribily sorry this was a big misunderstand, I will honor the original price as agreed." Overall very bad experience, we took delivery of a Grand Cherokee and after getting home realized the temp inspection was not attached. We also traded in and were due a check which we still have not received over10 days later due to the fact that Manny never took a copy of the contract to submit and then "forgot" to contact us. The overall experience has been unacceptable as the team never returns calls and gives us a run around. Wish we had gone elsewhere.
