Amazing food. Only thing is variety of different meats. I feel there was mainly steak, and nothing else. Even though the steak was amazing!!

My family and I have visited the Brazilian Steakhouses San Antonio has to offer and find Chama Gaucha to be the best! From the salad bar to the meal through desert, the food is great. The staff is ALWAYS cheerful and helpful.
I have been here many times but this was the first time I had taken my mom. The service was excellent. As we walked in we were greeted with a smile & led to our table. Our chairs were pulled out for us simultaneously as two gentlemen placed napkins in our laps. Our water was poured & Diego then welcomed us & told my mom about how service worked. Room temp was constantly changing from too hot to too cold. I think the restaurant is a victim of its own success. It seems to have been expanded to handle more seating and the ambiance as well as the service suffer. The food was still very good, but in the future, I would insist on the main room.
The whole experience was amazing it can't be put into words the food was mouth watering, amazingly delicious seasoned to perfection. The staff was all happy, attentive and very friendly they made suggestions on how to make the dish taste even better by adding different sauces or jellies. My son loved their "next gen" lemonade. ♡♡♡♡
We were celebrating our aniversary with our friends. A fairly large group (7). We had a great time, the food and service is exceptional. The salad bar is outstanding as well as all of their cuts. 5 stars for the Picanha. It is pricey so hold on to your wallet, but definetly worth it if you can afford it.
The warning signs started with our arrival at the restaurant. Clearly Chama Gaucha knows how to _take_ a reservation. They just don't know how to _hold_ a reservation. When we were greeted, we were informed that they were running behind and it would be 20 more minutes. We weren't seated for 45 minutes. Once seated, the service was spotty.
