windows are good but I have a problem with replacement windows.
THE WINDOWS WERE NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY AND THE SCREENS DO NOT GO DOWN ALL THE WAY. THERE IS A CRACK THAT ALLOWA BUGS TO GET INSIDE THE WINDOW
The initial install went great until the installation crew realized the factory sent the wrong sliding glass door, it opened from the wrong side. I received a call the next day from corporate stating I would see the new door in 5 weeks. 9 weeks later it showed up, without a replacement screen door or any new hardware for the new door. After about 30 minutes of banging around the installer told me the new door doesn't fit in the frame and put the old one back in. After removing my original sliding glass door, I was told that the new door was 2 inches shorter. No one EVER mentioned this before. The installer was the one that came to measure and stated that he gave the correct dimensions to the person that ordered the new door. I have tried to contact someone to discuss this and can't get anyone on the phone.
Factory finished quality doesn’t match price paid. One window has a drill-looking hole plus rough edges and drain holes. One small crack in a window frame. I feel I overpaid for what I got — so, the issue isn’t with Champion Windows of Boise, it’s with Champion Windows.
