When they delivered the window, we're in the middle of a renovation and that is one of the last things that we're waiting for, they brought it in, they installed it, the window was the wrong size, it wasn't what I wanted, the guy who installed it who had his manager called me, because I'm not happy, I've never heard from him since. I'll never use them again. The communication was horrible.
We signed a $58,000 contract, paid $27.500 and months later, we have yet to see a single window!
Their salesman very graciously made a Sunday appointment to accomodate my schedule and spent almost an hour with me, measuring my house, discussing their products, etc. and then said he'd e-mail me a quote. That was on Sunday, Sept. 28th. On Tuesday, 9/30, I received a VM from someone named Summer at Champion who said she had and quot;really good news about the quote we sent you.and quot; That's great, but I've still not received a quote. I called her back at the extension she left in the VM and got a generic and quot;no one... read more
My major issue with Champion was with this dishonesty of the sales person, and the unwillingness of the manager to discipline the employee. The sales person that sold me the windows assured me that that they did not use subcontractors. This was not true. Basically champion sells really expensive windows and subcontracts the labor out to other companies so they do not have to pay them benefits. It is a preference of mine to hire contractors that pay benefits to their employees and do not curtail this responsibility by using s... read more
September, 2013 we signed a contract to have Champion install a large 18 x 14 foot vaulted sunroom to match the vaulted ridge line of my home. We paid an initial $14,000 deposit to start the project with another $14000 due at 90% and the remainder after completion. The room was going to replace a portion of the existing deck. The champion foreman came out to measure and mark the location the deck needed to be removed. We removed the deck 6 inches inside of his marks so that the installers could make precise cuts to match the ... read more
The windows were purchased in July. We received a runaround as to when they would be installed. The salesman was worthless in finding out any info as well as the local office. The installers were great but the sales and customer service people were terrible.
I am horribly embarrassed that I posted information that was not correct. I mistakenly posted that Champion was the company that refused to make an appointment with me but that was totally incorrect. Champion was not the company at all. I am terribly sorry for posting information that was incorrect
I bought my house 3 years ago. At the time I was told the windows had a lifetime warranty on them. Today I tried calling Champion to get some warranty work done because several screens are broken and one window is cracked (it was a hard winter). <br /> I sent an email through their website and got a response within about 15 minutes, so they were very prompt. When I spoke to the gentleman, I let him know that my understanding was we had a lifetime warranty on the windows and that I needed some repair work done. He proceeded t... read more
