We arranged for an estimate on an evening when both my husband and I would be home. The Champion sales rep arrived on time and went through his info and had props to show differences in construction grade window frames / glass vs. Champion window frames / glass etc. so we placed an order 2/18/14 for 9 windows and a sliding glass patio door. He took basic measurements that evening and said they would all be custom made to fit and a second man would be out to do exact measurements which happened a week to 10 days later. Service was performed in September 2002. I asked this year during a site visit they address poor placement of two windows and they never followed up despite agreeing to, saying they would look into it but that and quot;they probably wouldn't fix it because it was so long ago.and quot; I was told the same thing again today during a site visit. So my belief is that Champion warranties their product but not their subcontractors' workmanship. Understand if you buy from them you'll probably get a subcontractor, and the one I got ... read more

Champion Window was very helpful as far contacting me and giving me a quote. However, after getting a quote fro $1100, I mentioned that I would still shop around as it was very expensive and a lot higher than some of the quotes I already received. He offered a discount to try and convince to consider their services, however it still was very expensive and average to be about 800.00.What really upset me though, is the vender proceeded to call me the next day and tell me that after reviewing his notes, it said that my landlord... read more

They chose not to show up and not to call. When scheduling the appointment I had shared with them my budget and they insisted they wanted to look at the job. After the no-show I called and was told they did not come because they did not like the dollar figure. That I understand. The two problems I had is 1. they insisted on coming to my home, 2. they then chose to blow me off without the professionalism of bothering tocancel the appointment.

<p>They showed up when they said they would. the windows are good windows but I don't think they are custom made as they claim. I had windows that were sliders in my 2 spare bedrooms. the opened from left to right. Being that is was still cold outside when they were put in, we did not notice until the weather warmed up that they now open from right to left and any breeze will go directly in towards the closets and not the room itself! I decided to use this company because they were Angie's List. A man from the company came out, and gave me an estimate. The salesman was a smooth talker. He told me that it was going to cost $681. I decided to give him a $300 deposit up front. He initially gave me a specific date that he was going to do the service. They are now stating that they cannot do the job until the fall. Overall: Service was horrible. Felt lied to, misled or cheated during most of the process. Salesman: Found out after agreed on product and price that there were lots of other options that I wasn't told about. Unfortunately found out too late to change anything. Salesman also did not have any involvement in installation. Installation Crews: Warning, they barely speak English so don't expect to ask them any questions and get answers.
