Beyond the salesman. Champion windows is a mess. Noone communicates with you and if it wasn't for me calling Lance I think the install would have been scheduled alot later. I received a text that they would be there between 12-2 and they didn't show up till about 6pm. No called to say they was running late or nothing. The scheduler should have atleast sent a courtesy call to say they was running late but would get there later than expected.
They wont return my calls, they still owe me screens.
Contracted crew started the installation. It was not done properly and had to be corrected. Champion failed to communicate regarding when the installation would be completed. We had to contact them. During the initial installation by the contracted crew our alarm contact wire were cut after we had been assured that would not be necessary for the installation. As a result we had to purchase another alarm system.
doors ordered last Sept and still not done. they have been here 5 times and each time problem with doors.
Everything that could go wrong did. Communication was AWFUL.
These are the worst windows I've ever encountered but cost a fortune. took 5 months to install after being promised. 4-6 weeks. First attempt to install but all the windows measured wrong. Had to wait to have them all remade. Then when they were installed the windows don't fit the frames. The excuse was that "the factory has a problem and all the windows coming out are that way.' when we were sold the windows one of the selling points was that they own the factory so they can control the quality and time until install. Installation manager AND Area installation manager (his boss) were both awful with response time and problems solving. Didn’t once reach out proactively or seem to care. Personalities of car board boxes and I would suggest another line of work for them. No emotional Intelligence and no customer service/social skills of any kind. Happy to send screen shots of text conversations, lack of responses and downright non-caring emails. Took 16 weeks to receive windows when we were quoted 6-8.
