We were sat at a table in the bar which was very busy and very loud!! I couldn't tell you how many times someone's butt was right next to the table. We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was not romantic at all. Food and service were great but atmosphere was awful!
Our waitress was unable to handle our table of 4, forgetting utensils, spilling drinks, ignoring requests for cleaning spilled drinks, forgot dipping oil for bread, forgetting to slice the dipping bread, then arguing with us about it. It was busy, we get it, but our server couldn't leave the popular people in the next booth alone, to our detriment. And, my long-standing complaint -- do they ever clean the crappy plastic vines draped all over the ceiling?
Mostly empty, but was not able to direct toward an open area for table selection. Once seated, ignored by waitress for 15 minutes while we watched her conversation with associate. After requesting to be relocated or reassigned waiters, same disgusted waitress was chased to our table. Disappointed and disgusted with staff we walked out. We did go to 2nd restaurant of same ownership and had a delightful meal.
Was disappointed that no mention was made about my birthday. Thought server would be informed, and when she asked if anyone wanted dessert I had to ask for my birthday dessert. I was very embarassed. If an effort is made to make a reservation stating that it is a birthday, and wanting to redeem a birthday dessert then the server should be informed. Otherwise, sitting in the bar area certainly made it easier to communicate with our guests, because my daughter and other guests of mine usually have difficulty hearing each other... read more
Very disappointed in this visit. Old pre-cooked chicken. No refills. Very bad service.
We had reservations on Mother's Day and were seated immediately upon our arrival. We were very pleased since the place was jam packed. Knowing that it is one of the busiest days of the year we expected service delays, so we the only comment about the service is that the server was very helpful, nice and did her best. My husband and I thought it would be a nice place to take my mom for Mother's Day. We always found it to be a nice place with pretty good food and good service. Last Sunday our food was fair at best and our service was slow. We had a party of 8 and our table was put in a very inconvenient location. Often when a party was seated they were taken past our table and had to squeeze between us and a booth. The noise level in the large room we were in was so high, we could hardly carry on a conversation without raising our voices. We will definitely go back again, however will ask for a small side room which should be less "energetic".
Easter Brunch. Most of the buffet items were cold; they had let the sterno go out on most of them. My daughter asked to order off the menu, she was told by the waitress, "Well, okay, but just so you know, the kitchen is focusing on the buffet items first so it will be awhile."
