My aunt likes the ascetics, feels safe but dislikes the unfriendliness of the staff and high turnover. She mentioned that the therapist spends more time note taking than therapy
The staff in general seem a bit distant. I wasn't able to establish a relationship. I did not witness a strong relationship of the staff to my family members residing there. There was one nurse who seemed proactive but she was disappointed with the lack of upward mobility and possibly wanting to look for new opportunities. Overall good. They struggled with heating and ac issues earlier in the year. Staff overall is good however My mom has submitted some complaints about staff caring for my stepdad. Once submitted the issues are handled. Mom likes Charter more than [community removed] for the level of care my stepdad needs and it is 1/2 the price. Much more homelike at Charter.
We picked this community, because of their reviews, cleanliness, residents seemed quite happy. As I have said before, my Dad was only there for 5 days before he passed so I do not have a long term impression of Charter.
My brother was only there a for a few months. It seemed OK, no complaints. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a place for their loved one.
For over a year my family and I searched for a program that would best suit our mom. I did virtual tours, made multiple phone calls, and narrowed my search down to 2 facilities. My family decided to go with Charlotte Senior Living for several reasons. When I first took the in person tour the atmosphere was warm and calming. The staff and clients smiled and said hello as we passed. It gave a feeling that my mom would be comfortable here.

We have been very pleased with the caregivers, nursing staff, housekeepers, and all who attend my parents (advanced assisted living) every day. On-site therapy is wonderful also! I do wish there was a dedicated activity room for residents. Facility is convenient to hospital and Dr/ specialist offices. Facility wheelchair transportation is good, but only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's a challenge to schedule appointments only on those days. But so far it has worked.

For the most part they were great but some of the care staff were rude and not kind to the residents. I would recommend it.
[name removed] only stayed 22 days. He passed away. I was impressed at first. [name removed] had trouble with seeing. At meals they sat food down and walk away . Sometimes spilt his drink. He did not like food. I truly think they were not truthful with ME.HE WAS UMHAPPY and so was I. So I was bringing him home. He had cold and uti. It took to long to get any thing done. I'm very disappointed with them
