I waited for Hours literally! No cab ever showed up and the dispatcher had a horrible attitude and couldn’t speak ANY correct English!
Great job on adding the mobile app, however in my experience when I book with the app I can rarely get a cab to pick me up after work. Yesterday jan 14 2026 I placed a booking at 2pm, and never got picked up leaving me stranded at work in a snow storm.
Never will I call another taxi cab here in Detroit Michigan especially checker

We were charged $180 to go from MGM casino to White lake last month we were only charged $100 our driver ranted and raved about it's Christmas time I've got a grandbaby I need a tip so we ended his own tip I said all I have is $140 he then proceeded to call the police and make a big deal out of it he tried reaching in my purse to grab my grocery money that I do not no longer have out of my purse the police made us pay him he cheated us out of $70.72 not sure what the drivers name was
Start having available dispatchers (real people) and have the driver and vehicle already ready the day of pick up. I booked the trip 7 days ago with wheelchair assistance and expected it to arrive at set pickup time , instead I had to wait wait wait and up canceling my appt because of checker cab. I even called the dispatch center and was on hold for 45 minutes while on the app it read "finding you a driver" .Have one ready especially if the customer booked way ahead of time
The vehicle was too small for our luggage. The driver was very rude, impatient, and disrespectful. Assisted by Api
Our driver failed to drive in a safe manner during the entire trip. He was constantly weaving in and out of lanes at high speeds while on the phone. His erratic driving made the whole trip very uncomfortable. Checker Transportation needs to ensure that drivers follow safety protocol at all times, especially when carrying passengers.
Cab driver Yusuf #195 is very rude he left me at the liquor store because I went in to get change and said I was taking too long ..as long as the meter is running you are paid ...he was so rude and disrespectful
