We walked into the restaurant and didn't revive a greeting because the hostess was on her phone texting. Then the bus boy comes to the table and starts pouring with no greeting. Received the food in 14 mins after being seated, not complaining about the fast preparation but that was a clue that the food would be terrible. We ordered the steak and chicken and pancakes. I had dinner reservations for 5:00 and arrived early...about 4:15. When we arrived the place was very noisy. People seem to be yelling as they held conversations. It was like a big party with loud music. I had been here before and it was nothing like this, so I was a little shocked. I booked a reservation for myself and some of my closest friends for a birthday hey together/celebration...when we arrived the hostess was very sweet and she sat us immediately...we ordered and then that’s when it took a turn...so all of my friends ordered the chicken/French toast or pancakes and I was the only person who tried the steak and eggs...the food came and everyone was raving about they’re food so I tried a piece of chicken and it was so good so my expectations were high then my food came out last and when I tried ... read more

Beware... normal parties of four are considered a "large party," so they automatically charge an 18% gratuity.

I don't get how you can make a 11:00 PM reservation but the kitchen is only available for "late night menu" (small appetizers)... That was very disappointing. I think we should have been told this information when making this late time reservations. On top of that there was no sincere apology given. Will not recommended at all. Thanks but no thanks!!!!!

I dined at Chocolat for my sister’s 49th birthday but was extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by the waiter and manager. While making the reservation, I indicated this was a birthday and requested a slice of cake be presented at the end of the meal. During the meal, the waiter countlessly gave us incorrect drink orders for our bottomless brunch. the Spanish manager with curly hair is VERY rude and unprofessional. A mandatory 18% gratitude was added into the bill which was fine but we didn’t not feel like the service was worth 18%. They had the one guy serving food/hosting. Wtf? The bartender worker even told her that it wasn’t worth 18% gratitude. She slammed the check book on my friends food and had a vulgar attitude. The food was bland. The bathrooms were disgusting. There were several people standing around that could have cleaned them. We spent about $400 to not be impressed at all. The music was the best part.
