Thus was my first time and I loved it. Me and my family went for brunch. The vibe was nice and the food great. Will be going back.

I picked this restaurant because my cousin loves chocolate Martinis & they delivered !! The drinks were on point ! Everyone had a great evening the food was yummy the Mac & lobster , steak & calamari didn't disappoint it was a crowd pleaser ,( yea we all tried each other's food ) !! This is definetely a great place to meet with a group of friends ...good times !
Recently visited Chocolat for brunch along with 2 friends during my first time in New York 4th of July weekend and I am so happy I did! Although, I was a little put off at first that the "unlimited mimosas" were actually $12 for one and "refills as long as you are eating", the servers were great about keeping our glasses filled. While it is a nice atmosphere, they lacked a few of their notable items on the drink and food menu. Bartenders not knowledge about drinks or drink ingredients. They also didn't fill my drink item correctly and insisted I was wrong. When I received my bill, it clearly showed their error. When confronted, they admitted that's what I was served, but in no way acknowledged it as an error. I was served a particular brand of higher prices liquor, not a better tasting product. Food items are overpriced.
Good food, good service, very quick with the mimosa refills.
The music was so loud, I was not able to hold a conversation without yelling. The waitress was not able to understand what was being said and provided very poor service. It took way too long before our food was served however, it was good and it was hot when it finally was served. The waitress apologized and was able to make up for the poor service in the end.
I was very late for my reservation but it was my birthday and they were accommodating in that regard. I had the crab cakes, they were fine but nothing spectacular so I think they were overpriced. Tried my sister's mac n cheese, again it was ok but nothing really stood out. Also there was a group of young folk singing, I think coming off of brunch--that set the vibe as a little immature.
