I really enjoyed my time at chocolat lounge. The food was amazing and unlimited mimosas for $12 wasn't bad at all. The waitress was friendly until it was time to leave. I felt a little rushed. I asked for one last mimosa while I was finishing my food and she said ok but never came back to give it to me. Other than that it was great. Very clean but it was a little packed a lot of tables in a small space. Great for brunch and lunch. I'd like to go back for dinner
I was invited to Chocolat by a friend to have dinner so I made reservations for Chocolat for 8PM. I arrived at around 8:07PM and was greeted by the Hostess and my friend. She told us that if we didn't enjoy the food that she'd give us $100. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed the food so she was able to keep her money lol We were seated and our waiter Aris came to us and we spoke to him a little, he was very nice and was prompt in taking our drink order and also made a few suggestions. I love going there after church with my friends, it's such a fun place to unwind and have a good chat.
The drinks were good. My food was just ok (I had the fried chicken), I wouldn't buy that again. My sister had the crab cakes and she cleaned her plate. for $36 I am glad she did, but they didn't look like they were worth the money.
My experience was great overall. Service was very good...wait staff was on point and courteous. The food was delicious. Loved the shrimp empanadas as an appetizer. Shrimp and Grits were the best I've had in a long time and the Lamb Chops were superb. And what can I say about the Red Velvet cake but it was tasty with a twist.
Great restaurant in harlem. Not ghetto but more of a mature crowd.
The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. i was not pleased with the fact that you can not substitute items even for an extra cost. The serving size of the food was not worth the price of the meal. My friend did not enjoy her drink. The waitress was nice and provided good service. The chicken was cooked nicely and the red velvet cake was excellent.
The food the mimosa the atmosphere every thing was great and the price was right
chocolat is Nice very quaint , great ambiance for a night out with the girls. service was on the slow side but the food was Excellent.
