I took my sister here for brunch on 1/17/15. Service, atmosphere and food was great. I love that this place is kid friendly, grown up approved and in a great location.
The atmosphere and excellent food make Harlem's very own Chocolat a must eat a venue. However, there is a need to address some of their shortcoming so they can take the restaurant higher! Wait times and turnaround is extremely delayed frequently. The waiters and bar take a long time to give drinks food takes a very long time to come out even for the most basic items on the menu. It was my daughter's 17th birthday and she wanted to come here. She absolutely love this place, and I wanted her to be happy!!! We had a great time and our server(can't remember her name) was very nice and had a lovely accent!!!
Great spot , however our wonder waitress Sabrina informed us that many items were 86...but gave us great alternatives !
An excellent establishment in the heart of West Harlem. A beautiful place with incredible ambiance & elegant décor. We had a great server who was kind, gracious and respectable. Appetizers were brought out right away, there was a bit of a wait for the main course, but when I tasted my grilled lamb chops with spinach and mashed potatoes, mmmmh!! DELICIOUS! I would definitely come back here!! A+++
The food, the ambiance and our waiter were all fabulous. It was a wonderful date night in an awesome setting.

Visited Chocolat for Sunday brunch, with my two young girls and friends. The menu features some different choices for brunch, so we were pleased about that change. The free refill mimosas at 12$ are worth of their price: they keep refilling without hesitation! Their red velvet pancakes with southern fried chicken should be tried: tasty and sized enough for good appetite. Overall, a pleasant experience to be repeated when going to Harlem again.
I had made reservations for two friends and myself so seating wasn't so much of a wait. When we sat down there wasn't any water or complimentary bread on the table but the waitress was quick enough to grab our orders. Drinks were strong and the food was delish!! Only problem was, we would hold conversations in between the dinner and about three different waiters came up to us asking to remove the plates. At this point we felt like we were being rushed.
