Delicious food. Server was professional and friendly. Music had a too much volume and "bump" as background for dinner, however it was a late Saturday night and may have been catering to the younger crowd. My 22 yr. old daughter found the music enjoyable.
The food was excellent and the DJ was playing really nice music. we went to Chocolat for an early dinner on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was really nice and the service was excellent. My boyfriend had the short ribs of beef and it was so so tender and delicious. I loved the variety of salads that are offered and I couldn't decide between the avocado salad and the beet and argula salad. Pleasant surprise for an early dinner! The food was really good (we were 3 and each of us had something different) and the presentation was pleasant too. Specially noteworthy was the fried chicken appetizer and the velvet cake dessert. I am sure we will be back.
We were at Chocolat this past Sunday for a Birthday Brunch for my girlfriend and our group was very pleased with the food and service from our server Robert (who resembles Phillip Michael Thomas from "Miami Vice" lore). I went to this restaurant on August 18th with my girlfriends. When we arrived the hostess was greeted us and sat us promptly. The waiter was kind and friendly and quite handsome, which was just s a plus to the experience. We did not have to wait long for our food once we ordered and the food was all quite tasty.
This is my second visit. The lamb chops, mash potatoes and spinach is delicious.
Chocolat is a very nice restaurant, which I would like to consider a young atmosphere. Upon entering we were greeted and immediately took notice to the ambience and the setting of everything from bar lighting to seat placements. Great options on the menu. Not too many choices that it confuses you. Drinks were mellow and complimented the food. The lamb was delicious. Mac and cheese was good. Was a little disappointed they didn't have piña coladas. Was told they don't have a blender. My server Milan was being trained. He was very personable.
After working up a sweat this was a great place to cool out for a Sunday brunch. The wait staff was very attentive. Menu is great and a good bang for your buck.
