Do not use this company. They tried to add $3000 in modification charges to replace the condenser on my A/C unit. I wish there were some way to stop these deceptive business practices.
I had an issue with my AC unit not cooling in June 2024 and contacted Choice Home Warranty as I pay a monthly deductible for covered services under the warranty. The service technician dispatched was awesome, very thorough, and professional! I was informed by the technician that the capacitor needed to be replaced. Refusal to follow up on claims after their service company defines the problems, parts needed and documents the need for repair.This is the third time a family member has had this issue despite paying a monthly service fee.
i did not even sign up and they tried to sell me the ***************. Telling me they are rated number one in the country. Looking at the reviews here, they are rated number one at being the worst. The *** actually hung up on me when i mentioned robots. lol
Stay away. They will charge you $100 fo a service call but nothing ever gets fixed or covered. They always find a way out of it. That is if they even make the call in the first place. In most cases, no technician will take the call and they force you to find your own technician, only to deny the claim. They are ridiculously aggressive when it comes to renewal time and will charge for $1,000 for an annual policy.I have worked with other home warranties and while they all have their issues, this is by far the worst of the wors... read more
On June 2 their Technician came out and sent a report that Washing Machine was un fixable the same day I received a Email agreeing and offered funs in lieu of replacement A ****** gift card for ******. I accepted. The PROBLEM is I would receive it with in 30 DAYS. I find this unacceptable to go 30 days with out a Washing Machine for 30 days . We have our two grandsons for the summer ages 9 and 5 I have called CHOICE several times on this matter the same answer each time you will have to wait.

Very bad experience with this home warranty. My water heater was broken, thus filing a claim for repair. After 17 days of filing the claim, the parts needed for repair still not ordered. The claim was filed on 5/31/2024, the diagnosis was done 6/6/2024. Till 6/12/2024 daytime, the parts were still not ordered. Then I had to call both CHW and the technician to check what's going on.
