I received a phone call from Choice home warranty company asking me if I wanted to renew my policy I stated to the salesman that I have a heart condition and I can't go without A/C or heat for a long period of time and he said it won't be a problem so I renewed my policy. This was 2 months ago ,my A/C stopped working on June 17th I called on the 18th of June I told them that I a heart condition and they gave me a service order for the 24th of June I called and begged them for an earlier appointment and they said yes so I ope... read more

I have been with choice warranty since November of 2022 and every since i got with this company it has been nothing but disappointment. I do not recommend at all this is the worst warranty company i have ever been with. If it wasnt for my credit concerns i would have been broken the contact. The technicians that they partner with most of them are scammers. By far my worst experience ever!

Had a bad experience with CHW. I've been a customer for years. I recently submitted a claim for dryer repair as it was overheating, burning the clothes. My husband checked all of the vents etc. and nothing was blocked. I filed a claim and they scheduled an appointment with the repair company. without any input on what time/day worked for me. The guy comes out..... can't speak English. Looks at the dryer. Apparently replaced some part (not telling us anything) and said, " You're all set". I was shopping around for a home warranty on the consumer affairs website reading reviews and consumer affairs gage my information outlet to different companies without my consent. Immediately I started getting phone calls from this company. They dont politely ask for you, you answer the phone and they say your name like they know you. I contacted them regarding my ac unit. They stated they wouldn't be able to replace my ac unit. When I spoke to the first case manager, he claimed things from the technician that wasn't left on my invoice. He was very rude and disrespectful. When I spoke to another worker she stated my unit went out from a power surge. I provided proof that my unit did not go out from a power surge from both my power company, and an electrical engineer. Weve had a home warranty with this company for just over a year. We filed our first claim on June 20, 2024 for an A/C issue. We were told we would hear from a technician within 48 hrs. 4 days later and still no response. Every time we talked to a representative its the same thing (theyre sorry). I am starting to believe this company is a SCAM. They want me to find a technician on our own; and theyll reimburse me. What am I paying this company for and I doubt Ill be reimbursed .

ZERO Stars!!! Called for a claim on 6-20-2024 at 10:55:15 AM EST because my A/C was not working. 48 hours later and still no response. Call them to complain and get hung up on more than once. Log all my information into the portal and then at 11:36 AM today, 6/22/2024 I get an email saying I have a scheduled appt scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th between 12 - 4 pm. I call ***** and they have no record of an appt! I have spend over 3 hours on this today! This is a JOKE! I GIVE THEM ZERO STARS. STAY AWAY!!!

Air conditioner went up on hottest day of the year. The best they could come up with is an appointment 10 days latter. Meanwhile it is 95 degrees in my house and I have dogs. Had to buy window units to survive until technician can arrive.

called about central a/c they sent a technician who told me the problem was covered under warranty and would be back once they received approval from Choice. Choice sent response stating that they had no way of knowing if a/c was working before I purchased warranty so they were not going to cover it. Choicem never came to check on anything that was supposed to be covered so if I ever called about something else they could tell me the same thing.
