if I could choose no stars I would. they continually cost me more and more money since they lied to me about my loan. they told me it was a fixed rate and it's not. I found out too late. they convinced me this was the best option and now I'm stuck because I was not knowledgeable as I should have been and they took advantage of that. It does not benefit you to have a account at Citadel fcu. I have banked there for over 20 years and they act like I am going to rip them off on every transaction I am tired of their check holds getting longer and longer than industry standards.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have never experienced anything like the aggravation I get from this company. This morning I couldn't buy a two dollar cup of coffee with my debit card, went online and it says they are having problems with online banking. I wish I could give zero stars. This is the worst experience I had with a bank/credit union. They are extremely unprofessional, and aggressive, and will HARASS YOU every day about your loans to the point that they will FILL your voicemail. This bank does not care about its customers and will threaten to take your car even if your payment is AN HOUR LATE. I was behind 3 months on my car payment, but about 3 weeks ago I paid everything up to date. Went to parking garage and saw that my car was gone. No one ever cancelled the repo on my car and they tried to blame me and wouldn't take responsibility for the fees because they tried calling me "I should've called them" and that their system doesn't update frequently. My experience with Citadel Credit Union. Stay away!! They will drain your account with fees. I over pay on my car loan and the money went into my SAVING ACCOUNT with the fees I am down to a fraction on the total. Stay Away!!
Without adequate notice they changed the terms on free checking, racking up over $50 in charges before I caught it. I'm outta there.
This is probable one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They are extremely incompetent. They botched a simple lease purchase, caused delayed registration, vehicle towed,etc. Their managers are clueless. They will probable not last much longer due to their lack of customer service. I will be moving all of my assets from them. If I could rate less than one star I would.
