I was originally told that the program would take only one year to pay off my debts, and that they would be settled for half the amount I owed total to the credit card companies. 15 months in I am only one-third paid on overall payments and total months to Clarity Debt, so will end up in the end having paid MORE than what I originally owed to all the cards. Also, they raised my payments by 13% six months in and just raised my monthly payments by another 21%, when I was told at the very beginning that the payments would not i... read more

The worst company. DONT work with Clarity . They miss guided me, damaged my credit that I built for years. They never told me about the Hidden fee, high service's fee and settlement damages on my score. Very bad company.

They us triple the cost and only paid a small amount to our debt. The rest went into fees. I was not able to log into see my account. Didn't have the information and couldn't get it. I talked to the they were smug about it. They tried to explain it but it didn't make sense. They still under their own admission received 3 times the amount in fees.

This company told me everything I wanted to hear about how they were going to settle my debts for a fraction of what I owed. They said most would be 60% range. When they called me with the agreements they came to with the 4 accounts I had, the interest rate was almost 33%. Thats higher than the credit card accounts Im trying to settle. On top of that, they told me that there were also over $2,000 in settlement fees. I was not aware of these when I signed up. This business is horrible. They will not return phone calls and mess up your credit by taking what they can out of you and not doing anything else about your debts. Stay away from them

They only get 1 star because the customer service staff are always nice. Other than that, horrible company. There are a million others to use, try them. Any time something is within their power, the process takes excruciatingly long, there are a million extra hoops and they act like they have no control over anything. Nothing moves along with any purpose or without prompting. I had to stay on them every step of the way to make sure anything was getting done. Stay Away !!!!!! just called to get a payof fquote to get ou tand the very unfriendly *** couldn't get it for me ! ***. told me it would take 3 days,so shady!! He gets ****** off when I ask for a manager and tells me none are available ! **************

I had a debt with Discover and two larger ones with ******.. I was pleased when Clarity ettled the Discover debt in just a few months. So I was quite patient waiting for them to settle the ****** accounts. But after more than a year passed without settlement I gave up, told them I wanted my account closed and any monies other the Discover to be refunded. Do not deal with these fools. I would have been far better off going bankrupt. I just started year 5 of 5, and they just added 8 months and 10k to the originally agreed upon amount.They give up negotiations far too easily. Scammers
