missing items, 2 months to deliver. Driver held paperwork and nothing checked off and the truck tried to leave someone elses belongings with me. Things broken. Boxes damaged. Coastal Moving is a broker not the company that actually moves your belongings.When we hired Coastal Moving, it was not made clear to us that they would simply coordinate our move with another carrier. Coastal moving services took my deposit after I had to cancel because of a change of the moving date. There is no person in billing you can speak with to get a refund you have to email a request. But no one seems to have the correct email or they put you on hold so long you hang up after an hour of holding. So disappointed in myself for giving a deposit up front. Dont ever give money up front.

Terrible experience with Coastal Moving Services. Once I signed the contract, the service completely changed. I had no visibility on the delivery date for our furniture and the movers completely destroyed two furniture items and damaged two other items. I have never had so many items damaged or broken with movers. Do not use Coastal Moving Services for your interstate move!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!! I would give them 0 stars if possible.They will reel you in with a super reasonable quote and promises of quality customer service, which is all ********. My final price was almost 3x the original rate I was quoted and came 4 weeks later than they initially said they could do. About Coast Moving Services, They bait your business by starting with a very low quote, then they call you a few days later with a much higher quote for an updated volume and weight. I could understand a small adjustment, but DOUBLE the cost it doesnt make any sense unless theyre really incompetent to give a precise quote, which I dont believe at all, they know what theyre doing.Then they resell the deal to another moving company, completely relinquishing their responsibility from the initial deal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They sent 1 mover to facilitate my ***** mile move from **************** to ********** and that's the care they feel your personal belongings deserve. I refused to let this proceed and lost my $1,800 deposit, save yourself the headache and spend a little more money and book a brand name mover. When It was all said and done I got an entire team from ****************** (professional movers) for $***** more than Coastal's price which gave me peace of mind.

I hired Coastal Moving LLC for a move scheduled for pickup on July 31, 2026, and delivery on August 1, 2026. I was originally quoted $4,200 for their Platinum Package, but after the movers arrived, the price was increased to $6,808. I paid the full $6,808 even though the move was not completed.***** ******* was the original representative I spoke with.
