I was completely misled by the booking agent, Will.Before providing any payment information, I specifically told him I was not ready to book because I hadnt even secured my apartment yet. I made it very clear that I needed time to think about it. He repeatedly assured me that the $1,500 deposit was 100% refundable. I hired this company (FYI they're F-ing AWFUL), and then they brokered out my move to another company, ************ in ******, **, who is equally awful. Ive paid twice the quoted amount for the entire move and was FORCED to pay for another month of storage even though I don't want my stuff stored, I want it delivered. I got upset and cried two times by the two customer service agents; ***** and ***. They both yelled and me when I supposed to receive update of my mover but they yelled at me.They kept changing time and the mover never call me to come over.They supposed to arrive between 10am-2pm and Im sitting here at 2:09pm nobody ever called me and nobody ever arrived today. Go with any other moving company. Coastal moving is a moving brokerage and they do not move your belongs. They contract the moving service to another company and this price you will pay but it is not disclosed to you when you get your initial quote. My $4500 move turned into a $10,000 move. Of course they dont tell you this until after you have paid your no refund deposit and are holding your items for ****** in the truck. Before booking, I worked directly with ***** ******. We spent a good amount of time reviewing our move in detail. The sales person was misleading and lied about the nature and content of the agreement. He promised the amounts quoted were higher than needed and the amount of space you would need would be less. Neither was true; the amount doubled and the allowed space shrank to where you could not move your property without spending far more money than quoted.
