Predatory practices. Needs to be investigated and shut down. People are being swindled daily by this company. Its large amounts of money on the line with outlandish and unfair policies. Terrible customer service. Unreliable. Untrustworthy.
I cannot even give any stars with how terrible the customer service was for this company. We moved across country and there was minimal communication, the quote and then what we were told we owed was WAY more. The whole process was terrible. 0/10 recommend.
Repeatedly harassed me over the phone to buy their service, despite no indication that I wanted to buy anything and repeated attempts to add myself to their no-call list. One time they called me and the support employee I was connected to actually thought I was the one calling them. An extremely poor experience.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!I booked Coastal Moving to move a 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment on the 3rd floor and an additional stop from my storage unit, which is 0.3 miles away from the apartment. I explained to them that is unit is on the 3rd floor and sent a detailed list of everything I had in the apartment. The U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was handled better than this company handled my move from Maryland to California. Multiple price changes after providing full inventory list with pictures, poor communication and not answering their phones. It was obvious they did not handle my things with care as several boxes essentially exploded, glasses/mugs were broken, statues broken, they broke my desk, lost screws to the bed frame and a silver coin is missing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not really movers or even brokers. They are complete scammers. They quoted me $5K for the move. Then after loading my stuff, changed the price to $12K and demanded I pay thousands of dollars right then. They are liars and extortionists. They sent a driver in a rented van to unload my stuff, no crew. It took hours, and my family had to help. The movers they "contracted" with do not exist. They are just guys off the street. If I could give zero starts I would. So many hidden fees and lack of communication. The quote is just a quote and not anything close to what it actually will cost you. The people that you talk to don't know actually when a truck will be available. They are just there to make the sale. Please read the fine print. Very misleading information with salesman, we were quoted a # and then gave a list of items. Movers showed up and wanted to charge us $2200 more to pick up items listed. They said the items we had on list were not stack able, and was going to be charged more.. we read contract and nowhere did is say what we were told.
