This company is THE WORST company I have ever deal with!! Their sales agent named JUSTUS contacted me when I moved to a new house. He told me since I already have an acoount with ADT on my old house, he can just transferred the old account to the new one, and it will take 2 weeks to complete the transfer. He even told me that he will send me $100 gift card to cover the installation fee. And 2 months after they installed new system at my new house, I'm still getting charged for the old account and of course no gift card!! I h... read more
Equipment not working
The tech left a hole on my living room wall, then they sent a contractor out to patch it but the wall is now mismatched from the rest of the wall's color. I now have to repaint the entire area to make it match again, which is very expensive to do, do not trust the techs with the work they do on your house. Numerous other errors and deceptions were made by the tech and sales rep. ADT as a whole has a great app and the cameras are decent quality. I would look elsewhere for your security needs.
The sales team and installation team were not in good communication and the installation team was not well versed in the equipment they installed. Ultimately, I ended up paying more for a poorly installed system that underperformed. While they meant well to try and fix the problems, they were not experienced enough to complete the job competently. Been a customer less than a month. Called multiple times for ADT and the outsourced company to come and get their equipment. Apparently, this is not an option. I am locked in for the next 3 years. Terrible customer service. You would think they would want to keep negativity away from the company and satisfy with some sort of credit or even an apology. I will never recommend ADT security to anyone. Ring or outdoor security cameras do the same job and no customer service involved. Also much more user friendly.
Service hasn't worked for 6 months. Continued to be billed and when call about issue, continued to get transferred and service was horrible. Tried to escalate issue and Jessica stated that she was the Vice President and the CEO was next. Service still doesn't work and I still haven't spoken with anyone to assist me or even apologized about billing and service interruptions.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Salesman wasn’t pushy with up sales and listened to what my needs were and recommended accordingly.
Jacob Dylla came to our house and stated he works for ADT and that, "your realtor sent me." After speaking with my wife, we decided to invest in a security system as ADT has generally been a reputable name in home security. A man named Chris Tyree came the following weekend to install the security system.
